This one surprises me. Boyd is not a really good team but they do have some kids that can play. There is no consistancy with the Lions what so ever.

was at the game tonite. the hawks can thank the defense for the win. they spent the whole first quarter with boyd co. goal in their back pocket. Offense finally showing some life in the second half. Good win and more importantly better atmosphere up on the hill. GO HAWKS!!!

This is a sign of the future for boyd county and they should be glad their district isn't that strong.

Cannot say I expected this one, but Pike Central has some very good players. Their game last week was closer than the score indicated verus Shelby Valley.

I was at the game as well...

Like cecokley said...the PC defense was in danger about 3 or 4 times in the red zone and they stuffed Boyd everytime...with the exception of a FG.

The one TD that Boyd scored...I think the PC player got blinded by the light cause it happened right in front of me and I didn't even see the ball.

Other than that yeah it was pretty good game...nice to see my old high school playing well.

The fans were absolutely fun to see as well...

The something that PC has lacked alot in the past...so it was very nice to see all the school spirit tonight.
