I knew it would be bad, but didn't think it'd be this bad. Congrats to Coach T and the Cougars on the W.

If this was a Highlands score, everyone would be complaining about how they run the score up and are poor sports.

http://news.cincinnati.com/apps/pbcs.dll...040071/The Conner offense churned out yet another dominating performance Friday, amassing nearly 600 yards of total offense in a 64-0 rout of Lloyd.
Senior quarterback Nick West finished 15-of -20 passing for 351 yards and four touchdowns. West also ran for 106 yards, scoring two rushing touchdowns.
“Last week it was our running game that stepped up; this week it was our passing game,” said West. "We are coming into our own a little bit and hopefully we can get both going at the same time.”
West used the versatility of the Conner offense to spread the ball around. Seven different receivers had a reception, and four different players were on the receiving end of the Cougars four touchdown catches. Most of the Cougars' big plays came on short screens and plays underneath the Lloyd defense, which seemed to be compensating for the big arm of West.
“Nick has a good strong arm, and a lot of teams know that,” head coach Dave Trosper said. “When teams try to take away our vertical game, we like to attack with the short game, and that opens up avenues underneath for our receivers.”
Receiver Michael Gill led the pack with three catches for 106 yards and a touchdown.
Lloyd compiled just 170 yards of total offense and had a hard time matching up with the oversized Cougars.
“We knew coming into this game that they were very, very good offensively,” Lloyd head coach Roy Lucas Jr. said. “I was proud of the way our defense played early, but good football teams will find a way to exploit your weaknesses, and that’s what happened tonight.”
While the highly publicized Conner offense has continued to deliver on its preseason reputation, the surprise has come from the play of the defense.
After allowing 14 points in a season-opening victory over Oldham County, the Conner defensive unit has allowed just 7 points through its last eight quarters of play. Conner has outscored its three opponents this season by 128-21.
“Obviously, with the talent we have on the offensive side of the ball, our number one goal is to come out and score as many points as we can,” Trosper said. “But to see the way that our guys have responded defensively has just been great.”
While not allowing a single point Friday, the Conner defense was tested in the first half. Lloyd had possession twice inside the Cougar 20-yard line. The Juggernauts were turned away in both instances, once on a goal-line tackle by Huston Dockery the other on an interception by cornerback Ryan Delph.
That defense will most likely get its toughest test next week when the Cougars host Dixie Heights on Friday. The Dixie offense comes into the contest averaging 31 points per game. Dixie put up 345 rushing yards in a Week 2 victory over Beechwood
