North Laurel @ Corbin 9/11
#1
Who do you pick? The Jaguars or the Redhounds.
#2
Corbin gets the win and hands NL there first loss of the season.
#3
Corbin in a blowout.
#4
Corbin, but not by much
#5
Corbin by 2 touchdowns.
#6
The Redhounds should take this game by about 3-4 TD's.

Good luck to both!

North doesn't believe they can lose. Never seen a team with this attitude and I have been covering HS footbal for 30 years. This is a different attitude than being cocky or over confident. These boys just don't have "quit" or "lose" in their vocabulary.

Corbin entering this game with any attitude other than this will be the most physical well conditioned team they will face, will come out on the losing end.

Whatever Coach larkey has been feeding these boys, and I suspect raw meat, they believe.

You guys really think you are going to Corbin and beat them worse than you did South Laurel.

I am sure that they do believe it. Is it reality? Who knows? That will be decided on the field. Coach Larkey and the North Laurel Jaguars have the odds stacked against them.

I think North will surprise some people and win this game on the road IMO.
#12
I don't see it, but as crazy as this season has been, you never know.
#13
Corbin by 21

I think NL gives them all they can handle the 1st half but Cobrin blows it open the 2nd.

Corbin-46
Jags-18
#15
North Laurel 28 Corbin 21
#16

#17

The second half is where NL shines. They are conditioned, healthy and well coached. I watched the NL vs. SL game again tonight and both teams had gas left in the tank when the final whistle blew. South was able to take Williamsburg down with their second half endurance. North wore them down with a limited number of offensive plays. South as with Williamsburg, couldn't outlast NL's conditioning.

After the game Coach Larkey stated "he didn't have to show his offense." To which I replied, "you sure didn't." LOL

Redhounds take this one by 2 touchdowns.

Best of luck to both!

Corbin-34
NL-22

So he risked losing a close game to not show his offense. :please:

Corbin by 14.

Corbin

I suspect NL will pull the upset. Corbin appears to be overrated. If NL can tackle and keep frtiz and watkins from breaking the BIG ONE they will win.
#27
If you want to know North's Offense.....They are a carbon copy of Rock on both sides of the ball. Just not as good on D Yet.....

They showed what they had. Limited offensive power other than Wardup. No way Larkey was holding anything back in this one.

LOL (Laughing Out Loud) Usually means as a joke or in a joking manner. Just in case you missed that also?

NL is not taking Corbin lightly. NL did not play several of their usual starters except in limited capacity. Corbin will see a lot more than South, and it will not resemble Rockcastle.

Close games and goal line defense can define a team. NL answered both questions against their rival South. Corbin is in for a real contest but please continue to ignore NL's ability.

And Corbin is not taking North Laurel lightly. Corbin takes no opponent lightly. This will be a good game.
