The Colonels travel to the grass of Campbell County.
The Camels got their offense on track against an extremely talented Roger Bacon team, who brought 3 University of Cincinnati signees in an upset Friday night. The Camels starched the GCL teams offense for most of the game and surprised many in the media who had the Camels as a 20 point underdog. The second week in a row the Camels had to face teams with multiple D1 players from Cincinnati High Schools.
Cov. Cath. looks to get their first victory after starting the season 0-3. However, the Colonels may not be as bad as their record indicates as they have played Lex. Cath tough and lost a close game to Cincinnati LaSalle in shootout 35-44. The Colonels will be desperate to get a victory before they begin District Play.

Cov Cath seems to be getting better every week and I think they will take this game.

I see Campbell Co winning this one and Covcath having to wait another week to get their first W under Coach Wirth.

I'll go with Campbell Co. in this one. Having talked to someone who has seen both teams play, it sounds like Campbell has an edge. Their QB surprised a lot of people who saw him, he has improved a lot. Sounds like CovCath is gonna go 0-4...who do they play next? Could they go 0-5? Ouch.

When was the last time these two schools played? I can't remember them playing anytime recently.

They have not played in the 00's. Last year they scrimmaged at CCH and the Camels outplayed them 5-2. But a scrimmage a year ago means nothing now. After talking to my son after practice today, the coaches are prepping the players for a Cov Cath team on a mission. So, the coaches are not looking at this like Cov Cath is down.

Probably a smart thing. If Campbell Co. comes out like CovCath is stellar and gives them their best, they likely will take this and run with it. If they look at it as CovCath is not very good, they may get surprised.

Campbell county impressed me this past Friday night, but I've seen them have trouble putting away teams like this in the past. I'm not happy about it, but I think CovCath might be a bit more stout an opponent than Bacon was. CovCath 42-35.
