Any D-I Prospects
#1
ARe there any kids getting any serious looks in EKY this year? I know the Fugate kid obviously goes without saying.
#2
Alan Fugate from hazard is a D-1 prospect. I m not sure who he is getting recruited by.
#3
Shane Pack - Lawrence County - being contacted by Marshall and LSU for his punting.
#4
what about that lineman for Lawrence I forget his name.
#5
Since Western Kentucky is now D1
Western made a couple of trips to Rockcastle to see Cole Abney and Derick Thacker. Both play OL/DL. I think they have offered to take both of them but i dont think ethier has commited yet. UK has also shown intrest in Thacker.

He has the size and moves well for a big fella. If he continues to work hard in the weight room and gets a little quicker, he will pick up some serious offers.

Thacker has D-1 size and Cole Abney has an unbelievable work ethic! Something about UK and their recent love of UK linemen, lol. I love it!

The Crowder twins from Allen Central have drawn some interest from Uk as well a WKU.

Michael Burchett has been receiving interest from Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest and Duke.

It's starting to get serious as well.

He is, in my opinion the best QB in the mountains this year.
I thought P-Burg would be down since they lost Setzer and Cranyon( sorry if i misspelled them), but Burchett has showed some amazing stuff this year, if you will keep me updated on this kid i wanna know where he goes, or some more offers he gets.

Tanner Tackett will go for defensive.
Hughes if he can get bigger or maybe a lil bit faster can go possible for safety.

I'll be sure to do that.

Michael doesn't get much respect outside of EKY, it seems. Hopefully some of the guys at LHL or C-J can take a look at this kid and write something up on him because he's shown when his undersized OL gives him time he can pick apart any defense.

Burchett reminds me alot of Al Holland Jr that played at Perry Central. Holland wound up at Wake Forest on scholarship before transferring to EKU where he was a star. Burchett is very mobile, very cerebral, and throws a pretty ball.

There is no doubt that the kid has D-1 size but i would have to see him go up against some more aggressive kids to see him. But he did a very nice job against breathitt county and i thought he has decent speed for a kid his size. How is his work ethic and what grade is he in? I also heard about the matt robinson kid he was drawing some interest too but not sure who from.

theres no way they go d1
they play horrible teams in the season.
thats the reason they have good stats for that reason. i would love to see allen central play pburg, sc, lc, belfry, jc or any team in the area that has talent.
it would be bad news for them. they would get beat 50 by any of those teams and also the crowder twins would get completly shut down by those teams.

Level of competition plays somewhat of a factor in recruiting but only a slim percentage. Both Crowder's have size, but neither are very quick. Both would make nice guards or maybe even tightends in college IMO.
