In terms of just overall atmosphere, Lone Oak has incredible fan support, turnout and excitement, probably as good as any school (outside of Mayfield) in west Ky. Not the best stadium or facilities by any means.

In NKY I always enjoyed Cov. Cath.

Thats what i was getting ready to say. The new feilds and stadiums are nice but they lack the character of the old ones. Especially when talking about Vipperman Stadium. Felt like the fans was on top of you. Plus they were right behind you.

Vipperman by far. Seems like the concrete bleachers echoed pads popping the best of any place. My favorite was the net behind the goal post held up by the phone polls (which i think was added near the end).

Belfry by far from what I've seen. It's a playoff atmosphere every Friday night at CAM.
Their fans are so passionate and love their Pirate football.

Show up at the CAM on October 16th for the District showdown, and you will see the best atmosphere in the mountains.

It will be a championship game atmosphere at The Cam when the Pirates host the Cardinals...I kinda hate that I'll miss it since i'll be at Big Blue Madness

I've not been many to many stadiums outside of Pike County but when I went to the old Belfry Stadium when I was a freshman...I didn't think I was going to make it out alive. The fans were like 2 feet away from us and they were throwing soda and spitting on us the whole game. That **** was crazy.

I really enjoyed my trip to Johnson Central last year when they played Covcath in the playoffs. I think that had to have been the best atmosphere I've ever experienced for a high school game.
When I was in high school, South Laurel was probably my favorite place to play. Being from nky, I must admit that there's nothing like watching and playing in the mountains on a friday night. The fan support of the towns is unreal.

Alot of maturity and respect in your post man.
Thanks from a Belfry fan. When I saw how pumped up you guys were earlier in the year to beat us, it made me realize just how successful this Belfry program has been in the past 7 or so years. I saw grown adults excited as could be standing to rush the field.
Thanks again for being honest and I appreciate the compliment on behalf of Belfry fans.
