No I hear they will not make this game up it will just go on as if they just play 9 games instead of 10.

I heard the report is one player has the swine flu and five others have flu like symptoms. And for that reason very good idea to cancel the game.

Hate to hear that but I would say e could see more of that this season.

TERRIBLE NEWS! Good news is the severity of the swine flu is about the same as the regular flu in most cases. I'm a little troubled about this. Not blaming or finger pointing so this is not to be taken out of context, BUT, Jenkins is in Letcher co. and as I recall some schools in Letcher co. were closed due to confirmed cases of Swine Flu. Now the Swine Flu is confirmed in Alexandria. Bishop Brossart played Jenkins last week, I truly hope there is no connection here and I am not saying there is but I hope not.

Probably the first of many cancellations to come. Hope the kids get better soon and it does not further spread.

From my understanding, it has only been one student at Brossart, but the decision close the school was quickly made.

School wasn't closed. Just football game cancelled. Mainly because of the potential risk involved

With the start of the new week how is everyone feeling at Brossart? Haven't heard yet if they had a mass out break at the end of the week like they thought

Just had this forwarded to me about Brossart.
"School will be closed the next 5 days. There are to be no games or practices, conditioning or any gathering of students the next 5 days. "
I don't know what it means yet for this weeks game but I hope everyone at Brossart gets well soon
