Bowling Green?

Anyone besides me really hate the idea of driving all the way to Bowling Green, to watch the State Championships?

If I am driving to BG that means Bell is going to be there so i will be happy..

We've discussed this in the past and really it takes no longer to get to Bowling Green than it does to Louisville.

Pikeville>Bowling Green (4 hrs. 30 mins.) -- Pikeville>Louisville (3hrs. 34 mins.)
Ashland>Bowling Green (4 hrs. 15 mins.) -- Ashland>Louisville(3 hrs.)
Middlesboro>Bowling Green (3 hrs. 22 mins.) -- M'boro>Louisville (3 hrs. 22 mins.)

Not that much of a difference.

I think Bowling Green will be a better venue than the pizza box. Smaller and IMO a better stadium. More of a HS feel. The crowd is right on top of the field and no 747's flying overhead either.

I agree. I went to the WKU vs South Floridia game last weekend. What a great stadium. It's still small for D-1 football, it will be perfect for High School championships. Not a bad seat in the house.

Looking forward to it. Looking forward to the bbq before the game, a stop at Krystal afterwards, then a long ride home with the windows going down every five miles or so and people calling me rude names. Same thing that happened after the HHS/Whitley County game last year.
Move it to Murray if you want. If Highlands plays and I can be there, I'll be there. Tongue

Change is usually a good thing. Nobody wants to got to Lousiville every year.
