If ER could have played like they did in the 2nd half in the 1st then ER by 30 pts.

I heard Hunter has 4 TDs. Just wondering

I'm pretty sure Hunter had 4 TD's, Logan had 2 TD's and Jackson had 2 TD's.

But hey, a win is a win no matter who scored what. Congrats to the Rebels on last nights win.

Was this game even close, what was half-time score?
#9
Im actually suprised ER put up 30 in this game.

ER controlled the clock the first 6 minutes of the game. Scored a TD and failed on the extra point. AC scored on their first play (after kick off) and really never looked back. With the start of the 3rd quarter AC started subbing JV and ER scored 2 TD's. Once the Rebels got things going in the second half it was pretty much over. ER did pull with in 14 points at one time.

Nice job of bouncing back by Allen Central. There's plenty more games to be played by the Rebels. Congrats on a nice win.

How can you say that when you lost by 4 tds?

Got to say I was impressed by both teams in this one. Allen Central's Crowder boys have a bright future in football. They could easily play at the next level. Maybe Not D-1 but most def play college ball. I would say defensive players at the next level. Or at tightends

East Ridge is most definitely on the right track. They never gave up. The old ER teams would have just folded at Halftime. Coach Allen's team is a fighter. For them to only be down 14 after being down 36-6 at half says alot. Yes the Crowder boys came out but they were not out very long. Infact East Ridge had a chance to make it a one score game with 6 minutes to go. They made one of the Crowder boys fumble by ripping the ball out of his hands...I'm not saying that East Ridge would have won the game because I dont believe they would have anyways. I do think this game was better than most people give it credit for. Great win for Allen Central, and a moral victory for the warriors. Coach Brad Allen deserves Coach of The Year in his District for the job he has been doing at East Ridge

correct me if i am wrong but i do beleive tat ER backfeild rushed for 399 yards with casey and lewis pretty much spliting them.

did you even watch the game. ac put the jv on the field when it was clear at 44-6 they should get some playing time. the facts that the er varsity put up 24 points on the younger kids is irrelevent. as soon as it was 44-30 the starters were back in the game and almost immediately stopped the er running game in its tracks and put up 14 more points in a span of 3 minutes. clearly ac could have won this one big but chose the let all the kids play and have some class in winning.

East Ridge played a great game. But Allen Central played a even better game. Congrats too the Rebals on this hard fought win. The game was much closer then what most of you think. The Crowder Twins came out only for a few mins in the 3rd. Besides the 6-8 score at the 1st the closest this game got was 30-44 when the Warriors started too get a little tired. But neither the less this was a very good game I have too say. Congrats too the Rebals once again and nice try Warriors.

This game was NOT EVEN CLOSE!! AC domintated when ever they wanted to. The JV came in in the third and gave up some big plays to the ER starters, but when the #1 AC unit came back it was all over.

I agree that they where better than East Ridge. I don't think that AC dominated the game. If you go on big plays then yes, they creamed East Ridge. But you can't say that East Ridge didn't put up a great fight. They had several good drives, and the JV for AC wasn't in the game very long. When the 1st unit came back in, ER still made it a game. They made one of the best players in the mountains fumble by ripping the ball out, and was driving down the field, and a missed blocking assignment costed them a 4th down conversion. I never said East Ridge would have won because they wouldnt have. But give them credit where it's due. East Ridge DID NOT FOLD. They kept fighting, and AC wasn't very comfortable at the start of the 4th quarter. best of luck to both teams the rest of the season.(I just ask that you guys don't shoot down this East Ridge team on a hard faught game. It was better than most are giving it credit for.)

For those who are interested of a view of someone who attended the game and did not see it through school colored glasses. ER had no answer for the Crowder boys. They scored long touchdowns almost every time they touched the ball. No other AC player hurt ER. Jacksons 2 TDs came from very short distances. At the beginning of the second half AC came out with a plan to work on their passing game. It did not work and allowed ER to get the momentum. The Crowders put a stop to this eventually. I knew they were big and strong but I had no idea of their speed in the open field. ER has a decent offence with two good backs. They are well coached but too many of their key players must play every snap and they wear down. Good luck to both teams in the future.
