It wasn't a decent season and things are working out fine.

I can't think of many coaches who would be doing much better this year at PHS then what Howard is doing. They have beat the teams they should have beat and lost to the teams they should have lost to. Pikeville's talent pool is way down right now.

How are their kids supposed to feel like playing hard for 48 minutes when the stands are half empty on their side. Pikeville fans are fickle. They need to realize that to get back to the penthouse, they must build a solid foundation and do things the right way in order to get back on top.

Absolutely agree 100%!!

I respect you for your opinion. But Pond Creek appears it is really passionate about the series. I'm not saying that the Pikeville kids aren't. But the Pikeville communtiy as a whole I think could care less. The last two years Pikeville fans haven't turned out. When I first started broadcasting games on the radio I couldn't wait to hot the booth to watch these two heavyweights go at it. While growing up as a teen I would always wait for excitement who won.

Also it was fun on the radio previewing the matchup. You never knew who would win. Now we talk about the series or at least I do if Belfry is going to cover the point spread.

All I am saying is that Belfry doesn't need this game at least for now. I don't think that the series will ever be the same for the next five years.

If the series was still intriguing. Why didn't WYMT send a camera crew to Belfry to shoot highlights ?

And no UK and Tennessee shouldn't end there football series because for one it is a SEC matchup it is a conference game.

I looked up Belfry's wins the other day after interviewing Coach Haywood. At one time Belfry and Williamson was a series. I believe Belfry leads that one 22 - 14. I was told that one time rivalry was competitive up into the mid 80's. Guess what Williamson couldn't continue to play with Belfry. The series had to end.

I'm just saying that the two schools should finish the contract next year and then move on.

Alright all you kids out there, today's lesson of life: When things get hard and it looks bleak- GIVE UP.

Yea, because in ONE OFFSEASON, Coach Howard was supposed to completely change the talent pool at Pikeville? Yep, that's his fault. I see your point.

NOW, that I have deleted the "nonsense" posts, ONLY warning I'll issue.......

KEEP IT ON TOPIC!!!!

This game is not about the Pikeville Coaching situtation but about the game that took place between the two teams.
