Cmon, they got destroyed in all those games. If they had played with those teams competitively I would agree with you, but getting beat the way they did in those games, they might as well played against the Florida gators it would have meant about as much as far as telling how good they are.

To be fair, I went back and read all 32 posts that you have made on this thread to date. Your main jab was Central's record and their schedule. That's fair, we have played a very tough schudle and only have two wins to show. You can make remarks about LoserCentral, mudcleats and other such items and that is fine. Where you crossed the line is calling Central's players, and I quote, backward *** country boys, referring to someone as a moron with a CD player and calling someone a FOOL. Is Ashland a good team?...yes. Despite their record, is Central a good team?...yes. Will both teams be up for this game?...yes. Are both teams well coached?...yes. With the district title on the line, no disrespect to Woodford County or Montgomery County, this game will be the game to see this weekend.

Waverly was not capable of exploiting the weakened Ashland line. In fairness to RJ Johnson and CJ Suttles, they did a pretty decent job of filling in last week. The question remains - how will they do against a stronger, better coached team (Johnson Central)?

Even though all teams have injuries at this point in the season, not all teams have suffered SEASON ENDING injuries - and not to a position that they are not too deep at.

I'm no fan of Matney, but he can definitely coach, and motivate his players. Waverly was a fairly weak team. JC will not be a pushover. If Ashland is to win (and I think they will), they will have to play well - including the players that are now starting that weren't as of two or three weeks ago.

ok ur right about ashlands line, they are not at there best at this point in time. but you are wrong about waverly, they have an explosive offense.

From a Ashland neutral - Alber stands out from All of the others. With such an impact player he makes the others look better than they otherwise would. Hunter is small. Whetsel is punkish. Russell will beat this team the next 2 years. GOOD LUCK JC! :devilflam

I'm glad the game will be settled on the field. According to SOME internet posters, their players can walk on water, cure cancer and perform other miracles. When the KIDS step between the lines, we will know if Tanner Bratton or another defender can stop Alber. We will know if our line controls their line or vise versa. We will know who has the best running game. I pray for a game where no players from EITHER team gets injured, all players perform to their capability and the game will be decided on the field by the players and coaches. Win or lose, I will be cheering the Eagles.

Some of us only get to see these two teams once a year in person and we would like to know how they match up and what you as fans of the respective teams think could be the key to their team's victory.

I am someone who truly speaks what I believe to be the truth and I don't think Ashland is that much better than JC if they are at all and i don't mean that in a negative light toward anyone. Can Ashland beat JC, yes they can. But can JC beat Ashland as well, I believe so. I hate people who simply because they are a fan believe their team is unstoppable. Over the past five years i never claimed we were unbeatable because I knew we were. So until Ashland, SC, or JC become a true threat to win a state title year after year all of their fans need to look in the mirror and realize how good their teams really are in the big scheme of things. Districts titles are great but many teams can claim that every year when only 6 can claim to be state champion which should be the ultimate goal of all the above teams. See highlands, Central, or Belfry as an example. Great teams year after year and always are a threat. Wow i feel better now.

ok u guys have not lost to bad teams some are top ranking 2, 3, and 4A teams but ashland is ranked five in 5A we have also played some good teams this year, jc has a chance but its not likely
