Signal was lost from the game with around 2 minutes to go with LC having the ball. Tolsia scored in the 2nd qtr on an interception return for a TD but they were never able to score against the defense and LC had reserves in during the 3rd QTR. LC scored on the run, 85 yard KO return by West, as well as a couple TD passes from both the QB and HB. Nice all around game by LC.:flame:

Great job Dawgs 10 & 0 way to go. As for the rebels I have to say that with there numbers and size they played a good first half. But like most teams just got worn down. The D was awsome tonight and Pack had another great game with another big long run were he just out ran every one :Thumbs:

I am curious as to how many points the LC 1st team defense has allowed total this season?

Stray I can't remember but Batp had the totals a few weeks back and it wasn't very much. I heard a great thought today that the winner of this one should be considered the winner of the bridge and a sign placed there. If they start playing this game every year that would be awesome and they could even get a little bridge to go home with the winner each season and then up for grabs again the following year.

Here are just a few stats...
We had a total of 460 yards of offense.
Shane had 12 carries for 105 and 2 tds for a season total of 25
Hunter James had a TD
Josh Mills had around 50 yards Rec and 2 TD's
Haden threw 1 TD and Caleb Bentley threw the other TD
Tolsia only had 105 yards of Total offense on the Varsity and around 60 on the JV and the JV didnt let them score.
West Had a couple nice grabs and the Kick off Return for TD and should have had a punt return for a TD if he doesnt run into his own team mate around the 10 yard line.

Congrats to the Bulldogs. I knew they had it in them to win, and now they've proven themselves. I've seen the 8th, 9th, and JV play and can say with complete and utter confidence that the Bulldogs are back and here to stay. They have good size and talent for the next few years. Now they can start proving themselves in the playoffs.

Congrats to Lawrence County on a perfect 10-0 season. I dread the long trip on Friday but look forward to meeting new friends and have been told your facilities are excellent. See you under the Frday Night Lights!

one of the best defensive plays i saw was the pass block from Wade Skaggs and the diving interception by Turner Obrian.
