I did a summer internship back in college when I was Pre-Vet and had one of the most memorable summers of my life. I worked at a Sea Turtle Hospital at Topsail Island, NC. It was not a paid interniship, but they provided a beach house to stay in over the summer rent and expense free and hooked me up with a part time job at a restaraunt across the street, as well as numerous other perks.
Although I ended up going away from the Vet School route in the end, I learned numerous important skills and got a fantastic reference out of it. Plus, I met alot of cool people and got to spend an entire summer living/fishing at the beach.

Yeah for me they have an apartment which is fully furnished, ill have 3 roomates. But it is very very big, they also pay for my metro ticket and food for the most part. I take a class while im there as well so I could come away with 12 to 16 hrs for the summer.

First, congratulations. An intership can be a great experience and a chance to meet some people who may help you in the future. My intership turned into a job that I have been at now for 13 years. I got the chance to do a summer intern and they liked what I was able to bring and 3 years after graduating applied for an opening and I been there ever since.
