who do u think will win this game?

Rowan by 3 tds. Rowan got handled by Boyle in a scrimmage but so would most people. Montgomery isn't Boyle, Rowan 42 Montgomery 21.

Agree.

Rowan has handled Montgomery pretty well the last 2 years and it doesn't seem like it will change this year. As for the Boyle county scrimmage, I was there for the game and it sure didnt seem like Rowan was very focused and thought they could just show up and play well. I look for them to go undefeated this season after getting flat out embarassed by boyle

RC should win this by at least 2 scores

I want some of whatever it is that you're having. For example, do you think RC will go to Johnson Central and beat them? With graduation losses and the injuries/defections they've had? The sophomore running back broke his leg; starting left tackle from last year quit; leading tackler from a year ago not playing, so....

Rowan will not go undefeated, they probably wont even win 5 games, everything is falling apart this season for RC. Its going to be a long season.

Defections, How many have they had? When did the running back break his leg? I also want to add there's no way they will beat my Tomcats.

I will take my Indians in a upset 27-22.

Actually, kind sir, football is a TEAM sport, they will keep rolling as they have done in the past without them. You seem to forget Rowan has one of the top qb's in the STATE along with a heck of an oline and receiving core. Sr. running back stephen williamson opened some eyes vs boyle and seems he fill cross's shoes.

Those mighty tomcats you speak of got embarassed by a weak montgomery county last season that rowan picked apart and sent the jv in on.

MC in an upset

When and how did the running back break his leg? We will beat Rowan and you can count on that!

Again, I want some of the Kool-Aid! They have Wing and a bunch of average kids. Last year's starting left tackle QUIT, so that def hurts the O line, and the center position has been a question; the 290 lb back, Moore, has a broken leg; defensively they have no LB's.
Fill Cross' shoes??!! lol. That may be the most entertainign thing I've ever heard on here.

Cross was a defensive NIGHTMARE his junior and senior seasons and there is no denying that.
Also, the o line has not changed much with seniors dan prater and tyler stewart leading that group and the leading tackler from last season IS playing

ashland has been way over rated every season, what makes them any different this year
08-16-2011, 10:42 PM
Rowan County.
08-16-2011, 10:49 PM
Rowan County by 3-4 TD's at least.

At least we're not one year wonders. You still haven't answered my question on how the big running back broke his leg.
08-17-2011, 08:23 AM
Spencer Perry, starting LT quit. And Wes Williams led the team in tackles last year. Neither are in pads.
08-17-2011, 09:09 PM
spencer perry was just and average lineman his brother has steeped in and he is just as good.
08-17-2011, 11:17 PM
Actually sir, Wes Williams did not lead in tackles. It was junior lb Zach Kelsey.
And I have heard that moore broke his ankle, not leg during a practice. I assume he just got rolled up

Dislocated ankle, broken leg. And Coach Brown told me before he left that Williams led the team in tackles. I'll take his word.

Anyway, I wish RC all the best. Point is, I don't think they'll go undefeated.
