#1 Mayfield vs Lou. Holy Cross #3

Who ya taking.... DO you think the fact LHC has never travled this far west will effect them or can they overcome it??????
#2
Its something else when you go to Mayfield, Cards win by a few scores

Well we actually get to see if Lou Holy Cross tough schedule pays off. Mayfield will be the best team theyve faced all year. So hopefully there up for the challenge.

LOL, you have Jonathan as a choice!! He is in a class all by himself for sure. I can't pick against my Cards and after watching Holy Cross play a mediocre JTown team down to the wire and JTown's QB run all over the field on em, I would say that Mayfield could just simply run the ball and win this game, but I am sure we will throw the ball to make it interesting. I don't think that Holy Cross has played a tough enough schedule, they no longer have Tilghman on their schedule cause they got it handed to em 2 years in a row and didn't want any more of that. They have only played two games outside of Louisville, one was at Caverna and another was against some weak team down in Nashville. This game has the chance of getting ugly quick and I don't think we are going to spot them 14 pts like we did last year either.

I think Louisville Holy Cross finally gets over the hump in this one..

from what i've seen HC is one dementional heavily relying on the run. i saw the jtown game on video and granite that was back in sept. state statistics still prove my point. im sure they have thrown in some new wrinkles in their offense since then but i dont think enough to make a huge difference. mayfields defense is one of the best in the state and they shut down the run very well. if mayfield can do that and force them into doing something they dont like to do it will be a long night for the boys on dixie hwy. HC also looks to have some good sized kids but this gose back to the speed/size debate. im going with speed in this one. 42-10 cards and another turkey weekend with the beechies.

Hard to pick against Mayfield right now... Mayfield by 4 TD

YA i gotta go with the Newly "blacked out" cardnails...... They really are playing the top of their game right now and i just dont see any one that is going to stop their winning streak this year... Im itchin to get this beechwood thread started.... Mayfield will play their jv in this one .... at least 42-10

J-town is not a mediocre team in the Span of things, I thinkthey are 9-3 or 10-2 & have given John Hardin their closest game of the year, whom they face in the Regional championship this Friday. That quarterback is d1 at the athlete position to go along with UK committ Ross @ DE.

Having said that mayfield will have the home field advantage, & at this stage of the playoffs that is a big factor.

Ok, JTown is a "Good" team, but are they as good as Paducah Tilghman? Tilghman has a UK Committ in J.D. Harmon and he went nowhere against the Mayfield defense. Tilghman only scored two FG's against our defense and Tilghman has team speed, the likes that Holy Cross has not seen this year.

Honestly I dont see this game being very close at all Mayfield is to much for Lou holy Cross IMO!!!!

where did i mention trinity....when did i make it sound like we were the best team in the state...we have a great defense and thats no secret...guess if your a HC fan youre gonna find that out soon enough....oh and by the way i personally would love to see us play trinity just to see where we stand against competition of that level.

I guess I'll have to pick Mayfield (ohhhhhhhhhh that hurts worse than picking Pikeville to win their game).
#17
Haha im not the only one that picked jackson
#18
Jackson will be the star in tomarrow nights film!! as HC will be "Livin on a prayer" -Bon jovi- The cards will move on to a hungry Beechwood team!! We welcome the HC to the wild West. Have safe trip to and from..
