Gotta love Coach Haywood and the Big Red Machine, the Belfry Pirates! Back to the State Championship once again but not before a heck of a fight. Enjoy the night, rest up this weekend, but come Monday get ready to prepare for battle come next Saturday. You gotta believe!

I was pulling for Garrard County as the underdawg but glad that Belfry is going to state. Good luck against a very tough Central team.

Tonight's game could do nothing but help Belfry. They have to be tougher and more alert after surviving a contest like this one.

Congrats to Belfry on the win,and to Garrard on a great season.one hell of a ballgame.I met some Belfry fans tonight very classy people my kind of fans they love thier football and thier passionate about it.Belfry and Garrard both have great fan bases.it was ashame to see either team lose.

I swear, Coach Hayward is in the thick of it every year. I thought next year was suppose to be their year. I am not from Belfry, but they have the best program in the mountains. Anything but a trip the the finals is a major disappointment for them. Coach Hayward is the coach of the decade by far. How many trips has the man been to the finals. To bad they will face Central.

Very very impressive performance from the Garrard Co Golden Lions! I have to admit that I did not expect them to such a good showing and actually look like the better team!!
