How's next season looking for the Rams? I know they lost only 6 sr's and some of them were linemen. They return 3 sr's to be and a whole bunch of jr's. Looks like leadership and an O-line could be questionable. I look for them to be on top of their district next year because of the heavy losses fairview has taken due to graduation.

I think Raceland could win 7 or 8 games next year. They are a young team on paper, but a lot of those juniors to be saw major playing time. I look for big things from Elkins and Messer, provided the OC opens the offense up and becomes a little more consistent with his play calling. The line on both sides of the ball will probably be the largest area of concern. I don't know what the schedule looks like, but it should be more home friendly then the past season, five weeks on the road can really take it's toll on a team.
I'm not sure what the district holds for next season, but Raceland should be at the top with a reall good chance at winning it.

IMO Raceland lost a lot of good players. Who is going to replace the backfield, other than Litteral? I'm still not set on the QB position, no bash but we just dont have talent at that spot right now to beat good teams.

I agree with you Thunder 110%. He is a great athlete, just with this team it helps the team more with him at wideout, because he's the best wr now too. I thought Raceland would have been better if a kid who quit last year would have got the qb spot(athletic) stronger. That being said I still think our Line is not good, hasn't been since 2009.And. You must have good line play

I didn't know Raceland had a football team.
12-09-2011, 11:42 PM
Messer is better in open space at wide out.
I'm not sure if Raceland will be able to find replacements for Reed and Caudill. Especially on defense.

Raceland might win 5 games next year. Hope for the best and cant wait til we play the AMs. Maybe you should try a Nickel formation defense seeing how you lost key defensive players. Maybe a Bootleg on offense cause you will need some trickery this coming year. Just wondering who was/are/is better
Randy or T.J. ?

What do the Eaglets have next year? Oh yeah, it's too soon to tell. Have to wait and see what "foster" kids come in to play. You know, you sure are a real DB and I don't mean defensive back!!

Just curious about something. I have short term memory loss and have trouble remembering things. Could you please remind me who won the game last year between Fairview and Raceland Ams? Thanks, you are swell fellow Ramcat77....heard you played Tight End in prison, well you were when you went in not when you left. So is it true you can pick a football up with your butt cheeks?
I heard there was a new chant going on last year from the Am faithful...
"BRB"...."BRB"....."BRB"......chew on that a while pusgut77

Like I said, you're a douche bag.

I thought the Elkins kid played well at QB in the two games against Pikeville. Especially in the second game when he was facing incredible adversity.

Fairview has many foster kids just like rams, devils, tomcats and every other school your DA, fairview will be down but I've been hearing great weightroom numbers and kids working hard. Heard they have over 50 guys lifting how many RAceland got
03-08-2012, 09:22 AM
@ Pusscat77, did you actually play the game of football or was it foozeball like Bobby Boucher the Waterboy?

Dat foolsball be the debils game!

Look, Raceland will be a good team again next year, and so will Fairview. Pikeville has been hitting the weightroom hard, and I've seen a noticeable improvement in some of the younger guys already. It will be an exciting year in Eastern Kentucky again.

Yes, douche bag, I played football at Raceland from 90-94. What's it to you? The question is, did you play? Or did you attend Fairview when they shelved the football program!!
03-11-2012, 03:56 PM
Why is it every thread involving Raceland gets turned into a mudslinging contest? Makes everyone on both sides look ignorant.

Raceland will be medicore at best and Fairview will be in a slightly rebuilding stage but we will romp the AMs. On a much sourer note....Rambat77, heard the other day you and TJ going to replace Floyd. Any truth to that or just rumor?
06-18-2012, 11:32 PM
Okay Raceland has lost to Fairview the past 2 seasons and yes it makes me sick! RAMS! this is not how the food chain is suppose to be lol! Last years Ram team was immature, even the seniors! No "great" leadership. What you do outside of football practice and school also reflects you're play on the field. The things I saw and heard of last years team was ignorance to say the least. They are young men I understand, and maybe technology helps create the "smack talk" stuff but the Rams need to wise up this year. Do not embarrass the RAMS that came before you. We worked to damn hard to have schools view us as how people did last season! Okay rants done. GO RAMS!
07-18-2012, 08:12 AM
How is it going in the wonderful world of Soggy Bottom? Seriously, what does the Rams have this year? Will their defense be able to hold up and help win 3-4 games?
07-18-2012, 11:18 AM
It's going just swimingly down here in RamLand. How bout WestWeed? All your Out of state players eligible yet. Is the apartment complex out there cleaned and ready to go so they can use their false addresses? that's right Clint Spoogeweed!!!.....I'm Back and ready to go at it.
07-18-2012, 10:48 PM
You better talk your trash now. If all of those kids are eligible the wood may be the home of the best football team in the area.
07-19-2012, 10:35 AM
I always thought the best football team resided in Flatwood.
07-19-2012, 10:53 PM
Most of the time. We have to have some down stretches just to give the rest of you some hope.

Take no offense to this statment that you are about to read (should be easy to do seeing how Raceland doesnt have much offense)
I would rather be in the Penn State showers than be a Raceland AM!
That was only a jab...still have hooks and uppercuts waiting to be unleashed. I hope that Raceland gives us a decent game this year. Last year we licked and nibbled on the orange icing of that cupcake.
Jab was for Ram-A-Devil only. What happened at Penn State was horrible and I feel very sorry for all the victims

Have you ever been around kids who have been sexually abused? They are messed up for life. To use that situation as a way to throw jabs about a high school rivalry is just foolish. Grow up and get some common sense.

I guess you failed to read the italicized statement. So you spend time with victims of child abuse? I agree that jab statment was not in good taste, hope you dont watch Jay Leno he would for sure offend you. Raceland Football? Not sure they can compete with Fairview's Freshmen team.

I saw many of the effects of child abuse on a daily basis.
I did read the italicized part, I realized that it was intended for Ram-A-Devil I was commenting on the jab, anything else I would not have commented about it.
You're right, I don't watch Leno. Not because he offends me, I don't watch him because he is not funny and I am not usually up that late.
