Every since my son took his own life I can not stand the holidays, with Thanksgiving and Christmas being the worse.:Sad04::Sad04::Sad04:

I have a rough time around the holidays as well. I pray that one day you find some sort of peace during this time of the year.

I hate this time of year, because of all the materialistic aspects of it. It's not about family anymore, it's all about the presents. I can't even imagine what you are going through. My thoughts are very much with you.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. If you need to talk, I'm here for you.

I tell my congregations every Sunday from Thanksgiving until New Years that there are lonely and hurting people out there and they need a little love this season. Go be the hands and feet of Jesus for a hurting world.

I love Christmas, but can't help but feel guilty for friends that are gone who had kids and family's and I'm here. Christmas amplifies it I guess. Really don't start getting depressed until Christmas Eve, but when it hits, it's bad.

Kind of feel you man.

NCF, I truly feel for you and your family. I hove no idea how you feel. I have a nephew who took his life a few years ago, and I do know how traumatic it has been for my sister and her family. God bless you brother.
