Dusty is off to experience the end of 2011 and usher in 2012 with his beautiful bride of 25 years. I want to wish you all a wonderful and happy new year, and thank you for a great 2011. This has been a very interesting year, and for many of our members, I witnessed heartache and joy. For my friends here who have had sadness, my closing prayers will be for God to help you put those into the past. I know we have experience broken relationships and traumatic breakups, sickness, losses of family members and jobs. I have a good friend here who has had to see his friends shipped home from another country, something that very few of us ever have to witness. For those, I trust that God will bring you peace and a new "meaning" in 2012, just BELIEVE!
For those that were blessed, please remember to REMEMBER someone less fortunate, those who did not experience the same comforts as you. Make 2012 different, by doing something for someone else. Remember, God did not bless you for your glory, he blessed you for his. Pass that glory on to others.
I love you all my friends, Good Bless, and I will see you all on here NEXT YEAR:welcome:

If anyone's drinking, please do not drink and drive, let a sober person drive for you.

Happy New Years everyone! wooohhhhooooooooooo....I really hope this year is better than this past one! To bad I won't be home for most of it, haha. Hope all you guys have a good year as well.
Also, wanted to add this. How did anyone possibly think that putting Dick Clark on the air?! He can hardly speak, and he could hardly count down...it was hard to watch. What the shit ABC?!

I was thinking about that. If this wouldn't have been year 40, and just year 39, they may not have had him on.

^ Very true. It's sad to see Dick Clark on air in the shape that he is in. I do not mean to sound rude by this, but it honestly looked like he had a spray tan done because he had so much makeup on. You can tell he is not in the best of condition now. It was always awesome to watch him on there when I was younger.

I would also like to say Happy New Year to all my BGR friends.
I would like to thank you all and tell you all I love you. You all honestly are considered family in my book! Whenever I have a bad day or something goes wrong. I'm on here venting or sending PM's. And no matter what, you all always put up with me and give great advice! And I really appreciate that from the bottom of my heart.. You all are great people!
Can't wait to see what happens to this wonderful site in 2012. Hopefully everyone continues to post and stay around for many, many years to come!
Thanks, Spud!

Yeah I know...it was just sad. It was for sure because it was the 40th Anniversary.
Anyway, what did everyone do for New Years?

I am home, haha. Thankfully. That's the main reason I enjoyed the holidays this year. I really don't like being away from Christmas...
And I couldn't let ya do that, hah. Thanks though. I'm going to have to go to Texas Roadhouse and buy myself $100 worth of dinner before I leave..since it's a new restaurant, their food will be better than if it was a few years old, hahaha. I can't wait.

I've been there alot, but not to the new one in Pikeville. Can't wait, going to tear it up. Steak is by far my favorite food.

To respond to Vundy's earlier post, for New Years I went to eat some Japanese with a couple of friends....by far my favorite thing to do lol. Then I went home and just took it easy.
