Christian Co from the West and Franklin Co/Conner from the East.

I could see BG winning it again unless John Hardin or Christian return a lot.
In the east Franklin, Conner, and Harlan County would have to be the favorites.

Connor lost the region championship game in the final seconds to Anderson Co (who also didn't win their district). Conner hammered the team (Franklin Co) that did Anderson's district. Cooper lost at home to #4 seed Montgomery Co in the playoffs. Has Cooper ever won a playoff game in their short existance?

Franklin county hands down. Who can contain/beat them with what they have returning. Skills kids are great, OL is great after the pick up of a couple new ones. Should be fun down in Capital City this year.

I have to agree that Franklin County is the team to beat in the east. They return all of their offense. They have Mr. Football Ryan Timmons returning. They are picking up plenty of kids with transfers the past two years. "If you build it they will come!"

Also the biggest transfer is on there coaching staff. They have added someone that can fix their defensive problems.

On paper, Franklin Co should be the heavy favorite to win the east. But they have NEVER been past the second round of the playoffs in their history. They gave up 84 points in a second round loss last year. I will always be skeptical of the Flyers until they get it done on the field.

I think conner will come out of the east and again put up big numbers vs. Franklin Co.

I always like BG's chances in 5A. They are always able to play excellent defense and they always have a really good running game. I have a feeling John Hardin will have a big year this year as well.
