Barry Bonds & Steroids
#1
What is everyone's view on this? Have you read Game of Shadows or the excerpt that was in SI? It seemed to me to be VERY convencing that Bonds DID to 'roids. And for those of you that think he didn't (if there is one out there), how can you explain why he hasn't sued anyone that has said that he has? Especially the authors of this new book.

I think he used them as well as many other players have and are still using them.I think the reason he does not sue is because he is such a vain person he likes the the attention no matter how bad it makes him look he gets off on it!! I don't know if they could legally suspend him or not. He has never admitted to it so until they can prove him guilty he will be playing. If I were a manger of a team he was playing against I would tell my pitcher to walk him every time he was in the batters box!!!

Could the reason be when he sat out as long as he did "REHABING" his knee that he was trying to get "CLEAN" before he came back so he could pass the drug test. His home run production sure dropped off in a hurry, didn't it?

I think he used roids

He did the juice.

I Think You Can Tell By This Very Easily When He Started Using The Juice. Tell Me Another Player Who All Of A Sudden At Age 36 Starts Smacking Home Runs Like That. From 1986-1999 His Career Avg Is 31.78 Hr's Per Season, 2000-2004 His Avg Jumped To 51.6 Hr's Per Season, Even If You Leave Out The 2001 Season From The 2000-2004 Period His Avg Is Still 46.25 Hr's Per Season. I Think O&d Hit The Nail On The Head He Sat Out To Get Cleaned Up.

Well the numbers do tell it. I mean after the 73 HR season, the last 3 years hes averaged 45 homers almost 30 homers less than 2001. And steriod can do alot of damage to your body, and hes had alot of injuries and problems over the past few years, although some might think its his aging and his body isnt as mobile as once was, but thats why (if he did) he would take the juice to get his body going. And I am not the biggest Barry Bonds fan but man I hope he didnt use them. I mean his rep has been tattered and torn b/c of this, but if it is true that he did, then he is done with.

I want to say he did but i dont. Look what he has done for the game of Baseball. BUt he prolly did you dont get taht big that wuick.

Some fan through a needle at him a couple of days ago, and yesterday a fan through a tube of toothpaste at him supposed to look like a tube of cream.

note this roids eat away at your knees and break down ur legs.. he did roids no doubt about it .. so did mcquire notice mcquire why he retired his knees
#11
Didn't know that about roids, but your right about Bonds and McGuires knees, it makes sense.
#12
once u dont have ur knees under u .. u havent got the power u use to .. this year bonds cant hit it out of the infield

look at how much muscle mass he gained after he turned 35 years old? he got huge. that is hard to do naturally. he had to juice. now his joints are hurting because steroids does that.
BUT!!!!!!!! he hasnt failed a drug test and even though i think he is the biggest asshole ever to play sports................ LEAVE HIM ALONE AND DROP THIS CRAP! i wish we wouldnt see his face anymore on ESPN. but until the media drops this we will never hear the end of it.

Exactly. I would go out to say that over half of MLB players have used steroids at some point or another in their career. It's just the big-time prospects like McGwire, Canseco, and Bonds that are being accused and caught.
