Good trade for all teams IMO. Magic got some good young talent with future 1st round picks from each team. I thought the 1st trade with the Nets was a better trade for the Magic though but if your a Laker fan got to be loving it. Sixers got a steal too, Bynum will make the team even better with young talent they already have. Philly has a bright future.

He originally said that he would...
but his agent retracted his statement and said he would wait until the end of the season.

Once he gets in LA and sees all the bright lights, movie stars, and that they (unlike the Magic) will do what it takes to put a championship team on the floor - I anticipate he will re-sign.

I guess its a good trade for L.A. I mean Bynum is just as good as Howard. Bynum 18 ppg playing with Kobe (20+ shots a game) and Pau. Howard just 20 ppg playing with Nobody. I don't think this trade makes L.A. as good as everyone thinks but Howard is a big name so I see where the hype is coming from.

He cry's about every call. (More then most)
He's 3 years older than Bynum.

ekff, I usually agree with you, however, the 2 stars vs. no stars argument doesn't necessarily apply here.

Bynum shared the paint with one of the best offensive PF/C's in the game so it took defenses away from him a little. Also having a Kobe at Guard kept the paint from fully collapsing.

Bynum is FAR better offensively than Howard, but Howard will be helped by being around the stars as well.
