Pretty weak opening week for Far Eastern KY:

Perry Central @ Pburg is the only game scheduled that has the marquee factor and looks to be competitive.


Probably the best game to watch this weekend within a 2 hour drive for you is the Belfry vs. Hazard scrimmage otherwise.

Harlan vs. Pikeville has the potential to be a great game, but Harlan is a haul from Paintsville.

I agree,Prestonsburg/PCC will be a good game once again.But,Harlan/Pikeville will also be a good game like last season (won by PHS in the final minute). Paintsville has history on the Harlan field as well. As I stated in another thread,Tony Mayes and the Tiger's won a regional Championship in the first year of the stadiums exsistence ('79). The ride from Paintsville isn't that bad,I drive it in a heavy truck 3 to 4 times a week. But I wouldn't blame you for going to see Prestonsburg/PCC. I'd like to see that game too.

I think the Bell Catholic will be a great game and there is another if I'm thinking right that I feel will be a good game and that is the Whitley Co. and Russell Co. game
