Bourbon is starting to look impressive.

Really impressive. It's early and Bourbon County has a long way to go this season, which leaves time for even further improvement. On to the next one!

Bourbon Co is a legit team. They may have a shot making a playoff run if they keep improving and everyone stays healthy. Very impressive performance all around and their coaches are a class act. They are running the program in a first class manner. As I said before, very impressed with not only the play on the field but the coaching as well. Major props to the Bourbon Co. team and its coaches.

What are Hopkins' stats through the first three games?
09-03-2012, 05:47 PM
He's had 150+ every game, I believe he broke the 200 yard mark against Owen Co.

He's only had over 150+ in one game this year, and looks like he only got 145 in Owen Co. Idk where you get your stats from? He won't average even close to what he did last year yardage wise, different offensive scheme, but per carry he is averaging over 11yds. Saw him play last year in a scrimmage, really really liked him.

My stats come from the Bourbon Co. newspaper. And Owen Co. stats come from people in attendance.

I think the BGR rankings have them in a pretty fair position.
I said in the lead up to this game that if Bourbon expected to contend in 3A they needed to win handily. They did just that. I think Bourbon is clearly making a case that there isn't a huge gap separating them from the Top 5 teams in 3A and that they will definitely be a contender to at least make it to Bowling Green.
