Those of you that study Bible Prophecy, is this not creepy?

That's the first thought that came to mind when I saw the article. The first time water was turned to blood is a matter of history and happened during the 10 plagues Moses brought on Egypt---

Exodus 7:17 (KJV)
17 Thus saith the LORD, In this thou shalt know that I am the LORD: behold, I will smite with the rod that is in mine hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.

20 And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and smote the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.


The next time is happens God's two prophets will do it in the not too distant future, during the 7 years of tribulation---

Revelation 11:6 (KJV)
6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

It will be interesting to see what the Chinese say caused the water to turn red. Obviously it's not actually blood--- yet. I doubt that this is just a coincidence, maybe a precurser of what is to come. I can imagine men saying something like, "water has turned red before, so it's no big deal."

This is no joke....

Was doing Fall FTX with various ROTC campuses last year and a guy in my group acting as the OPFOR had just gotten back from Afghanastan. We were discussing the world ending on 12/21/12. He had enrolled in school and indicated to his advisor that he would only be going the fall/spring semester as he was going to spend the summer and next fall enjoying his time before the end of the world. I started to laugh but he was 100% serious. He said he wasn't going to get a job because he didn't want to waste what little time he had.

I believe there to be some truth to that. Just like the documentaries on "Ancient Aliens". If you have ever watched it there is a guy on there with crazy hair who gets overly excited when talking about us begin descendants of aliens. Not only do I not believe what he is saying but I cannot take him seriously.......lol.......but I know some people who eat that stuff up...

I think the media causes panic, just like back when we first invaded Iraq in the early 90's and the media reported on Iraq having chemical weapons so everyone started buying up gas masks. Problem with that, the media didn't bother to report that their missles couldn't reach the states. I was in high school then and a kid kept one in his backpack "just in case".
