Raceland had ample opportunities to either win or at least make it a closer game. Nate McPeek stuck with his game plan and didn't think twice. The same can't be said for Maynard. The bottom line, Fairview was the better team and showed it.

YEEEEE HAWWWWW!!!!!! WAY TO GO EAGLES!!!!! When things were not going well you didn't fold, kept your heads high and fought through everything!!!! Great coaching, great execution and nothing but class from a great school and program. A lot of schools could do well to learn a thing or two from Fairview High School, their fans, coaches and players!!!!

Raceland has a very good team. It was a great game, I am disappointed though about 2 things that I want to get off my chest. 1) Not one Raceland Red Devil came over and introduced himself/herself tonight. 2) The SIGN was disappointing to me because most of our line came from Boyd County not Higlanders/Cabell/ Huntington....3 years in a row. The Orange frosting on the cup cake of schedule that we have was very tasty. Good luck to both teams the rest of the way.

You are right Ramcat77, all joking aside you would have done better at the helm. Not going to lie...I wasnt feeling to well at the half.

My lil 8 yr old asked me what that means!

Get real...hope you had time to explain the birds and the bees while the eagles were devouring the ams. It's not like our administration allows racial motivated signs to be hung in our hall ways of our schools.

What in the world is Sammons doing? Did he think he was playing the new Madden game on XBOX.

Certain folks in Raceland have certainly heated this rivalry with the allowance of the signs in the hallways and the Billboard that was paraded around tonight. I personally love it but to some it was very offensive much like my posts.

Disappointing loss for the RAMS, but the game that matters will be in five weeks for the Regional Championship rematch.

Hopefully the RAMS will learn from this loss & regroup.

I had said that whoever won the turnover stat would win the game, and Raceland lost some crucial turnovers. And Maynard seemed to really lose focus in the second half. Fairview took advantage of mistakes that Raceland made of course Beach's injury didn't help matters. If these two meet up again, should be an even better game.
