That result has to give everybody in 3A a little more hope.
#3

#4

#5
I thought that said 61 to 8!!! wow, close game
#6
Sounds like Larue manned up tonight.

LaRue County played Central last year closer than anybody in 3A Region 2, also. (35-14 Central).

Stat line I got indicates it was an all out battle, too. Central with 300 or so to LaRue's 200.

The score was also 16-8 at half.

I was just looking at LaRue's schedule also, and maybe this is a 3A team that, I wouldn't go as far as calling a "sleeper", but one that whoever plays them will be in for a battle.

Their losses have come to:
Shelby County, 5A Dist. Champ
Warren East, 4A Dist. Champ
Nelson County, 4A who leads the state in passing.
Green County, always tough.
And Central tonight.

Wins include a 47-7 over a current 6-2 Adair County (3A) and a 14-12 Win over a 2nd seed in 4A, Spencer County. This same Spencer team lost to Collins by 1 and beat North Oldham (spent a lot of time in 4A Top 10 this year) 21-7.

Interesting indeed.

Wow closer than I thought it would be.
#10
Central just probally overloooked them and give everyone false hopes, lol

If you listen closely you can hear te Bell County and Wayne County coaches tires squeeling as they drive to Larue County to get this game film ASAP>

It's crazy how games turn out sometimes, but Central is still the heavy favorite IMO.
Games like these happen.
Maybe Larue is better tha most think, or maybe Central got a wake up call....

We'll see come playoff time..

Congrats Central

Probably the worst performance of 2012 from Central. You want to be playing your best at the end of the season, hope this is not a pattern.

There may be hope for Bell County after all. The game will be at Bell. I may go to that game. I was thinking blow out, but this gives me hope Bell may have a chance. I guess we will find out soon. What round will Bell play them?
