I looked at the scores for my pick. Conner beat Cooper which beat Anderson Co. 48-0. Franklin Co. beat Anderson Co. 56-52, which tells me both Conner and Cooper are very strong.

Dont really think you can compare scores on paper to determine who wins. I was at the Conner & Cooper then the Anderson & Franklin. Never would have thought that Cooper would totally dominate Anderson the way they did.

I was at Conner/copper game and was not overly impressed by conner. They did beat covcath in last game of year but I still do not know how Cov cath could lose that game! I think FC wins this game by at least 10

You sound very intelligent so answer this for me. Why did Connor only beat Scott by 7? But Franklin Co. Beat them twice (by 32 then 38). The Anderson/Franklin game is a rivalry for Anderson, I don't think Franklin Co. looks at it the same way. I could be wrong about that, but I know parents and coaches on both sides. Franklin Co. talks about Connor alot they are so pissed about the way they played last year, they would run through hell in a gasoline suit to get this rematch. The Anderson folks spend alot of time talking about the Franklin Co. game. Also I did see Franklin Co. scrimage Dixie Heights, the flyers ran them off the field. 47-10 when I left. It looks like Connor was beaten by Dixie.

Tempted to make the trip from NKY just to see these matchups. However, Mrs. Spirit is leaning towards Ashland-Highlands game.

when you play against the teams from Northern Kentucky this time of year your chances of winning are very slim. Connor by 8. I know franklin,Co has a good offense but defense beats offense.

I hope this is a good game, whatever team comes out on top will be needing a tough test as they move forward, been alot of talk up to this point about which team is better, who is over rated, who has a weak schedule and all that. Well here in a day or so, all that stuff is going to be out the window. What is gonna matter is who scores the most points. As for me I think the flyers are due a win in the second round, and what better team to get it on than the Conner Cougars who killed, emberassed, dismantled, spit on, etc...anyway you wanna say it the flyers last year by scoring 84 points.

The flyers dont think they are gonna have a cakewalk I can tell you that, and they also know that they could come up short, but as my daddy used to say, lightning don't strike the same dogs A#$ twice. So Conner better put their hats on tight and bring a lunch pail.
