No matter how bad both teams are it would keep more interest if it was part of rivalry week. It's not Auburn/Alabama, it's not Texas/Texas A&M (I still can't believe that is not played every thanksgiving anymore) but its the biggest rival for either team and playing it the last game of the season would maintain interest for both fan bases regardless of record.

Surprisingly, I agree 100%.
The teams put way to much into the game.
You know if you lose to Lville, it just feels like the rest of the season will suck.
I say make it the last game of the year like Florida, Georgia, and Carolina all do.

But down here near the border Tennessee is way bigger of a rivalry. I would agree with you, but I just think it is custom to have Tennessee last

I hate Tennessee and I know what you mean but historically it has been far more competitive between the cats and the cards. Imagine the two playing this week even with Kentucky having no shot at saving this season but a chance to royally screw Louisville's. It would do wonders for football in this state to make that a Thanksgiving tradition.
As for that ugly orange colored school may they forever suck in everything.

Won't happen as of now because of conference ties. The Big East requires a final game of in conference school. IF, and that's a big if UL moves to a new conference such as ACC then the game could be moved to the last game of the season. If UL moves to the Big XII still not sure that would work, because the conference again requires a final game with an in conference school.

The Big East is dead. Louisville will be moving somewhere. I believe they will wind up in the ACC.

Start with the Louisville game should be a game we mark in the win column in june, This game should only be close about 1time every 5 years.I like the Tennessee game at the end because we may need 1 more quality win to go to a major bowl. IF YOUR GOING TO DREAM, DREAM BIG.

I agree, and play UT just before, or before a team like Samford. So it'd be UT, scrub, then UofL. With Strong there, we're going to have the chance to ruin a BCS bowl for them every year if we did this. And that's always great, haha.

It doesn't matter when you play it. Do the right job, and you'll win.

Tennessee is our biggest rival. Louisville matters to some people but we have been playing tennessee for 100 years.

It wouldnt be the last game of the year.
Thats when UK plays UT.
It would be the next to last game, like when we played Samford last week.
