Boyle big win over their rival.

Boyle's defense really stepped up. They bent but did not break. Both teams had other opportunites in the game but that is irrelevant. The better team won. Good luck to the Knights as the season progresses. I am certain these two will meet again.

Good win Rebels. Need to keep getting better. Bye week will be a good time to get healthy. As a side note, I think I owe Kyle Bolin an apology.

I wanna ask the Knight fans on this board a serious question? Why doesn't Logan get more touches. I understand their scheme but if you have a D1 RB wouldn't you find some angles in your scheme to get him more touches out in space? Just wondering? Is he fumble prone or having health issues? (knees, ankles)

One of the keys of the game was the turnover battle. Boyle County had no turnovers while Lexington Catholic turned it over 3 times, which also included the desperation hail mary attempt for an interception in the closing seconds. Also, Boyle County had 6 penalties, which is significantly lower than previous games. Good execution for the Rebels.

Boyle made all the key plays and turnovers. Other than that, it was an evenly played game or a slight edge to LC. Catholic had a big advantage in total yards.
Question: Does Lexington Catholic not have a kicker this year? The Knights have always had great kickers but last night it didn't appear as if they had anyone who could hit more than a very short field goal.

59 yds is not a huge edge in yards besides almost half of LC's yards came on 3 or 4 plays.they had problems moving the ball consistantly on Boyles defense.it was a really good game played by both teams.

I've been called a homer based on an opinion before. I have also been called "biased" by an administrator. How ridiculous.

The main issue is getting him the right touches. He is a sprinter with outstanding and world-class acceleration. To see him 'kick it in' on film is nothing less than amazing.
Maybe some schemes with enough blockers for up the middle plays will get in the plan. Or some motion plays is used to allow him to leverage his speed.
With the right packages he would be devastating.
And Mitchell (#22) and Gray (#39) are excellent FBs as well. But old fashioned power running is not in the game plan.

The 2 main kickers last year were seniors and graduated. So it was reload year. Its being worked on.

It was an inside joke. But yes, you are correct.
