Fairview getting primed for the Rams.
#5
Played hard tigers.. keep working hard!!!! Any stats?

I knew this one wouldn't be close after seeing both teams beforehand. Fairview just had too many weapons and out manned Paintsville. It seemed like Paintsville quit in the second quarter after Fairview took the lead and got some momentum. Also I want to say that #12 for Paintsville had no business going back in after that big hit he took early in the game. He was very disoriented and appeared to have concussion symptoms and he should have received medical attention. After he was hit he staggered on the field and then collapsed. There were also later points in the game that he appeared to be disoriented. I was told by a Paintsville fan that he has has two prior concussions this season as well. To play a kid who has had prior concussions on top of the symptoms he showed tonight is dangerous and irresponsible.

Over estimated Paintsville's offense without Daniels. Predicted fairview woukd score 42...goina be a big week of talking rams/eagles
#8
Not as close as I thought.
#9
Was cash Daniels on the field for Paintsville?
#10
^NO, Kash is DONE for the season.

Hook this really shows your level of football knowledge for a paintsville fan to call lc over hyped is the most ridiculous post you may have ever posted. And with some of the stuff you put on here that is really saying something! !!
#13
^I'm sorry. I should have put some facts on here to back it up. Please forgive me.

LC has played 3 teams with a .500 or better record.
1A - Fairview - 7-0 - Lost
1A - Raceland - 5-2 - Won (Skin of their teeth)
3A - Pike Cen. - 4-3 - Lost

The rest of their schedule has a combined 8-31 Record.

And I know you aren't saying Paintsville is Over Hyped. They have only played TWO teams with a losing Record. Allen Central and Phelps. ALL other teams ARE above .500. The total for the teams they have played this season are 28-21. Take away AC & Phelps and it's 26-7.

And YES. I have seen LC play this season.

I was too. But, when you look at the size and numbers of Fairview. They just had the Tigers worn out (tired) in the second half.

Still proud of the Tigers though. That place went quiet when they came out and scored on 3 plays...LOL.

Time to forget about this one and regroup and now turn our focus on Nicholas County and getting the number two seed in the district. Our next two games are winnable but we have to take it one game at a time. I'm interested to see the result of the Fairview/Raceland game to see how we stack up against Raceland. #Tiger Pride #We not Me

Wasteland will roll Paintsville as bad if not worse than Fairview.
#18
Hats off to Fairview's O and D line as they dominated the game. Hope Lane is ok after taking that shot, if anyone has an update on him please post. Congrats to the Eagles on the win, you guys have a solid physical group.
#19
Was hoping the Tigers would find themselves in the win column after this one. Just because you let a side dish simmer too long, doesn't mean you ruin the whole dinner. Keep playing Blue!! The rest of the games are winnable, all you have to do is believe.

Next weeks game may very well decide the east.

I believe you are right 55, Pikeville is the only other contender on this side they are dangerous and always find a way to win. Best to Mayfield the rest of the way.
#22
Expect more of the same in coming years from Fairview. Bunch of good young kids including a freshmen class of 22. They are on verge of being the best program in the East in 1A. Nobody else in East can put 70 kids in uniform. Mayfield is likely to bump up to 2A in 2015 looking at the enrollment numbers. 1A should become more competitive. New Cath may be dropping. Beechwood/NewCath could be wars.

Paintsville played a good hard game , & never gave up . Much improved from the last few yrs . Hats off to them for there hard work .

That is exactly why I said so, although I would not say that they smacked us around. Fairview is building a program that is going to dominate 1a football in the east half of this state if they can keep the core of that coaching staff together. Not one person said that Lawrence County was a "great" team yet so I don't know where you get this over hyped BS! We are much better then we were the last few years and that is what got people so excited in Louisa.
Even the games we did lose this year were not 44-7 (lol) we gave both teams that beat us all they want and go ask Fairview if they would want to play us again. Do I feel bad that a 1a school like Fairview beat us.............."heck no"
[B]name me one 3a school in the mountains other then Belfry that Fairview could not play with or even beat, heck I could name a few 4 and 5 a teams that Fairview could beat because Mountain football is down bad this year.

!!SORE LOSER!!

:Sad04::Shaking::igiveup:

Looked to me like the three P's did P'ville in. Penalties, Punting(and coverage) and Play Calling were self-inflicted killers in this one. Could have been a much closer game without all those false starts, and if Fairview's every possession doesn't start inside the Tiger 30. You think they would have realized from watching film that the Jet Sweep ain't going to work against a defense with the kind of speed Fairview has. Fairview's D-line did a good job of penetrating and disrupting which made it tough all around offensively. Fairview was the better team, but not five times better.

The above statement is what got the reply. It was uncalled for.

No sore loser here.

The Tigers and staff will have to work extra hard this week to right the wrongs of Friday night. Can't have the same mental errors in their most important game of the year this coming Friday. The drive killing fumbled snaps and penalties and negative yardage plays have got to be eliminated. The offense cannot be so predictable. There were Moms in line to get food talking about how they could tell what play was coming every time. That is pretty bad. Chalk it up as an off-night for everyone I guess or I hope anyways. One thing that did not slack off was the Tigers' effort.

It is so easy to criticize coaching after the game has been played, however, coaches actually have to make these tough calls under extreme pressure. Just because our offense didn't achieve the same success we have in previous games is not a reason to condemn the system. We were playing the second best Class A team in the state on the road in that hostile circus environment. Yes we are capable of a better performance, but there is no excuse for fans like you to turn on these boys and their coaches so quickly. Shame on you. Our highly motivated coaches and players will learn what they need to from this and work their tails off this week to prepare for a game that could be the defining point of our season. Time to move forward. As ALWAYS Go Tigers!!!#kissmyass
