Is there a connection to Shelbyville on LWC's coaching staff?

Wide Receiver coach Powell Miller played QB at Shelby County in the early 2000s.

I don't want to hijack this thread because I commend these young men on continuing their football career, but there is nothing free at Lindsey. They bring in 130+ players to help pay the bills at LWC. For many schools at that level I have a major problem with them just bringing in any kid that wants to play and letting them on because they are paying tuition. The kid doesn't play and leaves after 1 year with 30,000 in student loans. Hope those courses in Theology and Religion transfer?!

Congrats to both!!

Good luck to the boys...nice to see the local schools collecting local talent. LWC has been pretty faithful in doing this since they resurrected the program a few years back. Hope they start working their way into the more elite levels like Cumberlands and Georgetown has done lately with considerably more out of state talent.

Have no idea what you might be referencing. I have had several play at the NAIA level, they don't have $30000 in loans after four years. Usually it is $5500 loan, so they get $120,000 education and have $22,000 in loans.
