On the 22nd I am driving from Ohio to watch Newport battle Mason County.

On the 23rd it will be the Roy Kidd Bowl or Alumni Bowl.
#2
Harlan County Black Bears will travel to Lexington on August 23rd to face Bryan Station. I just pray that the cold spell keeps up til then!!

Smile
#3
Lexington as well. Can not wait.

On the 22nd, I will be in the friendly confines of War Memorial, here in Mayfield. On the 23rd I will be traveling to Paducah to watch the McCracken vs PT game. I hope it is as exciting as is was last year. There surely will be more seating available at that game. That is the one area that McCracken did not take care of with all the money they have. A jumbo tron and artificial turf, but not enough seating.

I going just up the road on 23 then 64 to Boyd Co to see my Dawg's thrash the Lions.

I was told that they didn't want to do it because they couldn't get quality competition to play in the game. Look at McCracken's bowl game last year. Terrible teams in it. Not worth going to.

This one for sure. :Cheerlead
#24
Will be headed to the Death Valley Bowl with the Frankfort Panthers.
#25
Will travel to watch PCC vs Clay Co
#26
55 i wouldnt call either team winning being a big upset on the 23rd. Pt has never lost to an in county school, but mccracken is loaded and would probably be the favorite, but it wouldn shock me to see pt take it again. Its a shame lone oak didnt play them in 07 through 10 cause they were good them years. I took a bus from reidland to the game last year. It was a packed house for sure, and you are right they should add more seats at mccracken. Im curious if anyone else on here knows were the phrase it was an upset comes from.
#27
I bet 64 started that phrase the first time he saw the burg get beat.
#28
Aug. 22nd Ill be watching Warren Central take on Hopkinsville and on the 23rd im going to WKU to watch Bowling Green play Mercer.
