Breathitt County 46 - Knott County Central 41
#1
Knott 41 Breathitt 46

Final
#2
Very physical game. Some questionable calls throughout the game. KCC looked the best they have in a while. They missed alot of freethrows though, that made the difference in the game, along with some bad calls at the end. The way things looked tonight, KCC may be turning things around. I hope that things keep getting better for them. Good luck against Leslie County.

Good game both teams played well, but there is one thing i would like to know. why
does a player ( matt) who is in his last year of basketball at central who when on the
playing court gives it his all have to set on bench to a freshman who tonight must
have shot (20) twenty shots or more and i did not see any go in the hole ?
What does MR. JUSTIN owe this family? Someone who knows please reply.

Nice post stir up some trouble. They play the same position? No dont think so, does any one on the bench have negative attitudes, dont think so and no one for Knott shot even close to 20 shots and no one took a bad shot so drop it. And I doubt he ows any one anything.

i have to say i have seen my fair share of games and this may be the worst called game i have seen all year. not trying to be totally negative about the refs but, you must give credit where credit is due and much credit to the refs for a horrible called game.

I didn't know Everage was a point guard.

Took in the game. Very physical. Officiating was tough because of the nature of the game. Had no real effect on outcome. Matchup vs Smith was tough for KCC. Thought their strategy was excellent. Lindon needs to score more for KCC. Good luck to both teams in district.

this was one of the best games kcc has played in a while i just dont understand one thing when the game was getting physical between smith and everage why did the official come over and warn everage and not smith, but any way ratliff didnt shoot 20 shots and i think amburgey is just trying the mix things up maybe get some fire under his players, but looks like to me amburgey and everage coming off the bench is looking good... good luck to both teams

Can someone please make these people an appointment with an optometrist? Maybe the guy who announces some of their games would give them a good deal on getting glasses. Every call an offical makes may not be accurate but stop trying to blame so many L's on bad calls. You don't hear this much whinning in a day care center. :baby: KCC may need to get a new coach or a whole new athletic department or perhaps a whole new team because the entire region knows that KCC has some major problems somewhere. But for heaven's sake get some glasses so that you can see whatever KCC's problem is!!!!!!

I didn't get to go see Hazard in the All A so I watched Knott play last night. Several people around me were saying that this line-up is working well. Breathitt beat Knott by 14 last time and the game last night was much closer than the 5 point deficit. The fans thought that J.Amburgey is playing better coming off the bench.
Is Everage a senior? Did he get any playing time as an underclassman? I don't remember him from last year but I haven't heard much from him this year either. One reason that he was on the bench last nightwas because of careless fouls. Is he an SENIOR???
I thought that Knott got tired late in the game because it was so physical.
Knott could be dangerous around tournament time. Mosley, Lindon and Stamper played hard but like I said they got tired.

Did you happen to notice if the people around you had anything on their noses or if the side of their heads were starting to cave in from applying too much suction? You know what I mean! Their lips are usually puckered so that they can kiss :moon: in a moments notice.

These men are quite knowlegeable in the game and also have no child on the team. That means they would have no reason to suck up to anyone.

or maybe it's you that needs the glasses. i'm not blaming the loss on the refs but, i think they need to try to be as accurate as possible and t hat did not happen with the refs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This a Breathitt and KCC thread

konan Wrote:i dont know why they play everage anyway

Becuase everage works his tail off every game anyone who has watched a kcc game can tell that, hes physical and doesn't back down hes really a great player.
#27
the coaches at kcc r just tryin out a few different plays is all. i heard coach amburgey tell jarrod and matt that it wasn't bc they did anything wrong just wanted to try some new things.
#28
When things dont go to well then coaches have to change things-up.
#29
I guess the change up has worked. Knott almost won. Like I said I think Mosley lindon and Stamper played well. If # 20 could of connected on his free throws the Pats would of pulled out the win. Big miss for the Pats.
#30
Congrats Breathitt
