The tragedy here is the infant that she leaves behind. Have to wonder who will end up with custody of her --if I am not mistake their is a paternity suit filed not sure if it had been settled or not.

I bet she died from a methadone and xanax combination.Mixing any drug with methadone can be fatal.Methadone should be banned.That poor little baby of hers will now be in the hands of the courts.

It is very sad...espicially the ordeal with her daughter. Her death could be from drugs or heart failure from dieting but look at what all she has been threw in the past 5 months. Her son died like 2 days after she gave birth to her little girl, she's been harrassed by paparazzi because of that and because she stayed in the Bahamas for so long afterwards. Then the stuff with her her ex-boyfriend claiming he's the father of her little girl and MSN reported that she was having some other legal issues with Trimspa and other places. The woman was under ALOT of stress and anxiety and stress can take it toll on you. The death of her son is enough to bear without having reporters chase you around and everything and that just happened 5 months ago so I'm sure that she wasn't nearly over it. Her also having a private nurse makes me wonder if maybe she has been having health problems lately...I mean I can't see any other reason for having a nurse?
I would'nt go and start making acusations about her overdosing or WHAT she overdosed on, usually doctors can tell if a someone is a victim of a overdose and besides the autopsy is only being done today not to mention the toxicology report will take a couple days longer to come in...

Anna Nicole Smith did not appear to be a victim of foul play, according to preliminary results of an autopsy Friday.
The cause and manner of death were not determined, however, and the investigation remains open.
Dr. Joel A. Perper, chief medical examiner of Broward County, Florida, said there was no indication of blunt-force trauma, asphyxiation or other physical trauma.
Perper said his office is awaiting results of toxicological and other tests, but there were no drugs in her stomach.
"There are a number of possibilities," he said, including natural causes, a drug reaction or some combination of causes.
Seminole Police Chief Charlie Tiger said no evidence suggests a crime occurred.
Tiger said no illegal drugs were found in Smith's hotel room. He said prescription drugs were found, but would not name them.
He said police were still analyzing surveillance tapes from the hotel, but so far had seen nothing unusual.
While the autopsy was taking place, a California judge ruled Smith's body must be preserved until at least February 20, when a hearing will be held to resolve a paternity dispute over the celebrity's 5-month-old daughter.
Superior Court Judge Robert Schneider's ruling came as new information surfaced about Smith's last days, during which she fell ill, according to sources.

I know we should respect the dead but did anyone see her at the AMA's, her son od's on lexipro, zoloft and methadone .

And it appears that the paternity suit is just getting larger...apparently Zsa Zsa's husband has claimed that he and Anna had a decade long love affair and that he could be the father of her child. So apparently there are three males claiming to be the father.

Absolutely and even more tragic is the fact that she will never live a normal life--not that she stood much of a chance of "normal" before but there is no chance now.

She was without a doubt one of the most beautiful but controvercial(sp?) women in the world but struggled with alot of demons in her life and thats probabily what she'll be remembered for. My Prayers go out to her as well as her little girl. I hope that something positive can come out of this, but it is a very sad thing.

There was a special on today about who will get the money. They do not even know if her latest marriage was legal. Whoever inherits the money is set to get $474 million it reported. Her daughter will be harassed by cameras for the rest of her life, will have to see what her mother's life was like and most importantly NEVER know her mom. Anna Nicole's life has been nothing but controversy. It really does break my heart to know that so much was going on with her. With her son's death coming just days after the birth of her daughter, the relationship with her lawyer, two men now THREE saying that they are the father of her child, always being in the public eye and getting bashed for something everytime she turns around, it's just wild. Hopefully they will determine the cause soon and get all of the legal details worked out. Trimspa could be put out of business because of this as well.
