Shout out to PHS #45!
#1
Hey Bundy, Glad it was only a "sprain"! Hope to see you on the court soon! I bet it's been busy with all the gang stopping by to check on you! Take care and see you out there in 4-5 like the Doc said!

Blake is a tough kid and won't miss much time.
#3
Hey bc80... clear your box
#4
Hopefully he gets back to 100%. How did he get hurt anyways?
#5
Not sure about the details. Saw the injury @ the ER... not too pretty!
#6
Was it an ankle? or what?
#7
Yes, a high ankle sprain. It was an "ice ice baby" evening for him! Then "Doc Arnold" got him x-rayed... and they learned the severity and he was laced up in a brace and sent home on crutches. They told him @ least 4-5 days. Thanks for asking!

I know how it is to have an ankle sprain, high or low sprain, they are a pain that is unbearable and hopfully Bundy can get some good treatment and alot of rest over the next 4 to 5 days.

#11
Good luck Blake! Enjoy the 360 during your time off!
#12

Not to be negative or to neglect Bundy, as I hope he gets better soon. But if it's truely a high ankle sprain, 4-5 days is really pushing it. Dealing with high ankles sprains myself before along with being around others who have suffered them recovery time is more like 4-5 weeks. He may return in a week or two but he won't be much over 50%. I've been told by medical professionals, that a suffering from a high ankle sprain is worse than breaking it as far as pain wise. I've seen people suffer such an injury and it effect there performance for an entire 4-5 month season in various sports. Nonetheless, get better soon 45.

Hope he's all better soon! I know first hand how bad those things hurt. I'de say in about a week and a 1/2 he'll be ready to go. But I wouldn't push it with the district tourney right around the corner.

I was about to say the same thing. An ankle sprain like this can haunt you the rest of your life. It will feel fine years down the road and you step on a pebble wrong and your ankle rollls, and you think OH NO NOT AGAIN! I don't look for him to be back 100% this season.

Yepp, I have heard the same thing all of my life that a sprain is worse than a break.

The 4-5 days things was the "best case scenario"... Positive.... Positive... Positive Let's all remain positive! The doc also did say week to week-and-a-half....

Get well soon Blake!!!!!!!

Ran into Blakes Dad in Walley World, said he sould be off the crutches and able to put a little weight on that foot by Mon or Tue, then he will be starting therapy.
#20
I'm telling you, if he comes back this season, he will be at the most 60%
#21
GWS BoBaLuGa!
#22

I wouldn't let him touch the floor until the first game of Districts! Cause win or loose the rest of Reg. season. Nothing changes the seeds for Dist. Get well soon Blake and don't beat my boy to bad on Halo!
#25
Sorry to hear about the injury, Blake. Get well soon and take care of that ankle.
#26
i guess they should have took the bundy kid to you instead of a real doctor since you know everything.:lmao:
