Russell @ Ashland (Game Televised Live)

Russell makes the trip to Ashland on Friday night to visit the Tomcats. The Red Devils were able to defend their home court earlier this season.

Should be another exciting contest with emotions running high and the crowds getting a bit too rowdy. I'll take Ashland in a barn burner defending the home court.

A bit of new info I just caught on TV. The game will also be televised live on the new "MyZ" channel which can be found on channel 17 (correct me if I'm wrong) in the Ashland Area for those with Adelphia Cable.

It is channel 17 in the Ashland area. I think its great that WSAZ has promoted local sports as much as they have on MyZ.

I totally agree. They normally have a tape delay later that night as well from what I've seen. That's how I caught the first matchup. I hope they will continue to do so during football season. It would be great to be able to take in 2 games in an evening, or even watch a great game again and catch things you may have missed at the stadium.

The first game was telivised on channel 23 by OU southern. MyZ has telivised Three or four of the HHS games live recently. The Scott Co game and the game against Capital the other night. Its good to see them pick up on some of the other local schools.

Thanks for the correction. In either way, it's good to see some local stations putting the kids on TV.

Has Ashland beat anyone this year that is any good or even has a winning record? They look real good against weaker teams, Russell ain't weak enough for them, other than attitude, Biggs is not as good a coach as Flynn

The last meeting between these 2 was a test of wills and Russell came out on top at home after an Ashland rally late in the 4th.

The Tomcats will foul late if they are down just like last time.

Russell has to make their free throws.

I hope the refs just let them play.
