I think the Raiders continue Dunbar's misery. McCreary Central 20-14.

Not so fast my friend: Dunbar has played a much tougher schedule and will get the win..
Bulldogs 21 Raiders 13
Bulldogs 21 Raiders 13

This should be a good game on paper comparing scores and teams and as well as Dunbar has a weak run defense and mccreary is strong on the run and can go to the air as well. McCreary pass defense is not that great , but games aren't played on paper I expect a good close game
09-11-2017, 03:13 PM
Dunbar 28-14
09-11-2017, 03:44 PM
PLD might just get their first win 7-3
09-11-2017, 09:53 PM
This may be one of the most random games ever scheduled, if Dunbar doesn't win, shut down the program.

Maybe Mullins can turn the program around...then again, maybe not.

I'm not sure who wins, but are we really going to talk about what this guy wears on the sidelines? This just seems petty to me and makes you sound like a real jerk, to be honest.

Of all people to not recognize the value of perception....Don Draper from Mad Men.....
Hahahahaha
Seriously, I heard from several coaches that Mullins will not last long simply due to his wardrobe.

That's hard to believe. I know a lot of coaches and they usually don't talk about other coaches being fired. Most often, it's the opposite - they are taking up for fellow coaches. They also could care less about what another coach wears.

May I reiterate that a 6A Lexington school is traveling a couple hours to 3A McCreary. That should never happen unless it's a premier matchup

Somebody has to win right?

Dunbar with running clock. What is MC thinking.

When a coach is in his 7th year and only has 15 total victories, then there have been a ton of losses. As you know, coaches meet at midfield after the game. This is when they get a close up view of their defeated opponents. Cargo shorts are just one aspect of sizing up Mullins after the fact.
fyi
Coaches talk up other coaches publicly. Sit in a private coaches' meeting and you will understand better.

This game was added in the late summer for Dunbar after Waggener decided to play LCA in Week 0. Dunbar had a bye week for Week 4 so they added McCreary Central.
It is definitely a game that the Dunbar coaching staff wanted as possibly one, if not the only, winnable game in 2017.

McCreary Central has a good football team and potent offense. They scored 54 against Perry Central an undefeated 5A school. McCreary Central was up 40-26 with 1:30 left in that game. They scored 63 on Ft. Knox, which is impressive no matter who you are playing.
Their OC is very experienced and prepares well! Defensively they fly around and get after it!
McCreary has a great coaching staff, and an experienced group of talented players, with one of the top RB's in the state Brandon Troxell who rushed for over 2.200 yards last year. Their QB is very solid and their receiving corps can make plays. Also, their line is big and athletic.
The Raiders are a very solid football team and pose a significant challenge for us.
We will have to be prepared and play very well! I believe both teams will be prepared and ready to play this game! It should be a good one!

Here is what I will say:
Even though McCreary is vastly improved from where they have been, a 6A school from Lexington should never lose to McCreary Central...
If Dunbar does lose... even though McCreary is considerably better than what we are accustomed to... then that is a BAD loss.
I'll take Dunbar by 2 TD's

Dunbar has some talent as you would expect from a 6A School. Line comes off ball real well, got some Backs and a QB that are very good players. McCreary had better not look at record, better bring their A Game or it will be a long night.
