Obviously Simon Kenton will be a heavy favorite. I'm curious as to why Simon Kenton chooses to continually schedule not so great teams.

Ok you make no sense
Last year people got on to Simon Kenton for playing Cal who won the State title now this year people say they sh
playing weak teams Meade County is 3-1 I believe
They play b-wood who is favorite to win their class
Please look at their schedule and point out weak teams Cooper lost a lot from Last year they are known to be good . playing Highlands who is a weak team only recently they are usually a power House don't try to undercut Simon Kenton which that stuff Simon Kenton has done a great job so far this season

Seriously? Why have they not played gcl school? Why no Covington Catholic? Why no scott county? Why no relevant 6a team from Louisville or otherwise? Cmon!

You make scheduling teams sound easy. Why haven't these teams contacted SK?

Ohio teams would love SK. They are a Harbin pt cash cow. Play a good Ohio teams and lose, win out the rest of their weak schedule minus Ryle, and it really boosts the Ohio team.
If they made the effort no way a top tier school from Ohio turns that down.

I know for a fact several of the teams I mentioned have tried to schedule sk.

Simon Kenton 42-21.
Simon Kenton works harder than HHS
Simon Kenton and HHS should play each other every year.

SK probably does work harder than them. It shows in how HHS defense tries to tackle the ball. And wait for help. My God. Stick someone.

Hard to believe Highlands has become a weak team on the schedule
09-20-2017, 01:07 AM
5 or 6 years ago Highlands had trouble finding teams to play them. Now anyone will play them.

Speaking of scheduling. In 2012 Highlands was looking for teams to play them. Cooper was brought up. The new guru Coach said Cooper ain't nothing. Well Cooper ended up being State runner up that year. And when they did schedule Cooper. They beat Highlands. Yeah. He really knows his stuff.

Did Highlands win state that year?

It would help if central office wouldnt block attempts to play teams across the pond.

Simon has this one! JV will be playing!
09-20-2017, 02:47 AM
Mantax you know they did. They were talking about for 2013 season. Cooper got beat by possibly the best team in the state. Bowling Green. The future coach of the year only said that about Cooper cause a certain coach brought up their name.

Ryle always played Highlands, one year twice.

Ryle has always been a good match up with highlands and have never bowed out. Definite respect for their program.
The same can't be said for SK.

Notice how convenient it is that HHS just "recently" showed up on SK's schedule.

The more you post, the more it becomes obvious how little you actually know.

Those are FACTS!!! Cooper was 5A then. And got beat by Bowling Green for state title.

Ok back to the subject of this post. Highlands gets blown out.

Didn't Dixie just play Milford a few weeks ago? Scott played an Ohio team last year I believe. SK has played several Ohio schools in the past.

Back on topic Highlands this year does not have the talent to hang with sk
People can knock sk all they want they have played teams in their class most of the season
They have b-wood soon and ryle both are really good football teams
Highlands has spent years destoring the teams of nky and as the big dog of football now the yard has changed and they are out matched
But in a few years you will see them back this is just a cycle
I personally think this will help Highlands in the long run
