Wasn't McCreary riding one of the longest losing streaks in the state a few years ago?

27 straight losses beginning in Sept, 2012 and ending with a win in the first game of 2015.
Interesting fact about Mullins (Dunbar's head coach), he began his head coaching career at Greenup County with 22 straight losses from 2011 until the 3rd game of 2013....I do not count the Fairview forfeit as a victory in 2012.....considering that Mullins lost 72-0.

Dunbar is averaging 5.25 points per game now!

How many games in Mullins' head coaching career has his team been ahead in the 4th quarter and lost the game?
I know that last year Mullins was ahead of Tates Creek by 14 midway through the 4th quarter and lost the game in OT....and now McCreary Central...

I'll take the blame tonight. I am the D.C. and got out coached by McCreary's OC Coach Teague, a great coach on their last two scoring drives! I have to do a better job! I failed my Head Coach and team tonight!
Plus, hats off to McCreary they are a good team and I told people that. - God Bless! John Hallock

Mullins still has to make the final decisions and therefore....take the heat for situations such as this.
Up 21-8 midway through the 4th quarter, there are numerous things that Mullins, as head coach, could have done to lead his team to victory. I have watched him in every game this year except for the Tates Creek contest.
Why does he continue to act as a caretaker instead of as a king? Aragorn, he is not.
Why is this a recurring theme in Mullins' failed leadership as a head coach?

I think it is great that you're stepping up like this, and I know you don't need a pep talk especially from someone like me, but there is a reason a lot of us spend time on websites like this and are not out coaching like you. Coaching is a thankless job especially nowdays when people have such a large public platform to second guess you. Good luck the rest of the season, and I hope you all get things turned around.

I'm starting to think there is something personal between you and Coach Mullins.

This is possibly the best win in the history of McCreary football. The program has certainly made a lot of improvements.
