Yes, I am still not over UK's loss to Florida.... how do you not cover two wide receivers, on two different plays and both coming out of a time out?

So that got me thinking, does your team have a Streak against a certain team?


My Criteria:
- Must have played five varsity games against the other school.
- Cannot be more than ten seasons between games.
If there is more than a five game win streak at different times, against the same team and that are more than ten years apart, you can list all that apply.
(Ex. '83, '84, '85, '86, '87, '98, '11, '12) The '80's win streak would apply.
(Ex. '03, '06, '08, 09, '10, '11, '12, '15) The span between '03 game and the '15 game counts. Even though it is more than a ten year span, there isn't ten years between any of the games.
- If a school has been consolidated and your team still plays the school they consolidated in to, that is acceptable.
(Ex. Cumberland & Evarts both would count towards Harlan County)
- You can list any school that has never beat your team. Time span doesn't apply, but you need at least the five games.

Belfry vs. Pike Central

I think the streak is now 24-0 or 25-0.No dis-respect at all, but the Hawks have never beaten Belfry. There's been a close game or two, but that's all. I'm not bragging at all because streaks are made to be broken.

One day Pike Central will do it, and they'll party when they do!

Berea has several streaks against them and it hurts my feelings for those hurting kids.

Greenwood High School was created in 1991. They have never beaten Bowling Green. I think it's 0-26.

I’m pretty sure North Laurel has never beat Corbin. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong. Not for sure the numbers on it. But I’m about positive they’ve never beat them.

I think North has only played Corbin 3 or 4 timess though since the school opened.

South had never beat Corbin until about 2003 I think when Irwin was at South. That same year, I think North beat South and was better than Corbin but got crushed I think. Simple khsaa search would show that.
Whitley had owned a pretty good win streak against South but lost to them from 03 to 05? Haven't lost to them since.
Whitley had beaten Lynn Camp every year from 89 to 05.
Whitley has never beaten Corbin but they hadn't played from 1985 to 2015. There would have been a few in that span.
I think Williamsburg has a pretty good streak going against Lynn Camp right now as well. Around 9 or 10 in a row there.

Raceland has a streak. Doesn't meet the whole criteria of it all, but idc lok. It's the losing streak against anyone that stands in the way of a state title appearance. Just can't get over the hump.

This is a little off from your criteria, but this streak is on the line Friday night.

McCracken County hasn't lost to a district opponent since its formation in 2013. This year, a competitive win over Daviess Co that lasted "all night long" and an easy win over Ohio Co continues the streak. They are 17-0 going into this weekend with an average score of 51-16 in those games.

That said, Henderson County is expected to have a great shot at ending the streak Friday night. Some are even saying they are the slight favorite at home. The Colonels gave McCracken the closest game back in 2013 falling 42-28 in the first ever meeting.

And yes, I thank the Good Lord every day for how far our team has come over the past fourteen seasons. Our county has seen an economic downturn over & natural disasters over this time period (an ice storm in 2009, a deadly tornado in 2012 & a deadly flood in 2015). It's more than just a football game, for some, going to the games on Friday nights is an escape. We've went from football games just being something to do... to not being able to wait for Friday nights from August through November.

closest Pike Central has ever gotten was 2009 when Belfry won 24-14. That's the only time Belfry hasn't won by more than 2 TD. In 2013 Pike Central scored 34 (the most they have ever scored against Belfry) and were beating Belfry by 17 at the half if I recall the game correctly, the Pirates ended up winning 56-34.

Avg score of a Belfry PCC game is 45 - 10.
Belfry has outscored Pike Central 1337 to 239 in 25 meetings.
Pike Central has only held Belfry under 30 points once in 25 meetings and only scored 20+ 3 times against Belfry.
