Perry Central

Perry look very good at Southwestern saturday as they beat Adair Co 8 points. It the best Perry look in 2 years. Adair Co got a good team Zion Harmon lead the Indians. Everyone remembers him from Bowling Green last year. Better not sleep on Perry if they stay healthy they be better than last year.

The PCC community has strong roots! I remember how good they were all the way back to MC Napier and Albert Combs. May extend even farther back.

Lol. Didn't North beat Adair also last week. Transfers must not be sitting well with Adair parents and team.

Adair co I believe lost 5 starters from last season. They are very small and Zion Harmon is the real deal. Adair will will struggle this year. Perry co will have problems with a pressure up tempo team. Adair co started pressing them and it bothered them they don't have a real good ball handler. Saturday Adair co came out and didn't guard them and Perry scored 32 points in the first quarter. Adair co started playing some D and they creeped back and had a chance to go ahead with about 2 minutes to go. After scoring 32 in the first Perry only scored 70 for the game. Anyone who says Perry is better this year than last is obviously a parent that didn't like the transfers because they are not nearly as good.

No way they are any where close to last year. Most teams couldn’t score in the lane at all last year against Perry. Don’t have a single kid that plays above the rim like the 3 kids they had last year.

Have to agree here. It's time to reopen that Canadian pipeline!

How about the coaches actually try to develop a few players and not just go buy a championship.

Until they get some quality coaches in the youth programs in Perry County, the high school will not have quality players. The consolidated schools have 25 players on their teams which means they only get a couple of minutes to play every game. They need to pick 12-15 and develop these kids instead of being scared to make people mad when their kids don't make the team. If they want their kids to play, let them play biddy league or go to the sportsplex to get better. West Perry's Coach from Chavies is pretty knowledgeable and works hard with them, but there are way to many kids to have to deal with. Coach Hoskins needs to get involved with the youth like Coach Larkey and Ovie does with football. That is the only way to get Perry County to the level of all of the Central Ky schools and be able to compete without all the transfers. But that is hard work, and not many want to be fooled with all that. Maybe time to find someone that will put in the time with our kids.

i was wondering where those jealous perry central haters were. i knew it wouldent take long.

No way they're better than last year, but Perry went about 10-deep last year and return some guys with game experience.

You simply don't lose the guys they lost and get better in an offseason.

The Mountain Classic starts next week and we'll get a good idea as to how they stack up with the other teams around here.

I think adair county was ranked 13th in the state so they must be kinda good. good win for a supposedly rebuilding team

The most useless stat from a scrimmage or preseason game is the score.

Adair not bad got 2 very good players vheck the courier journal or lexington hearld they had 2 kids in top 15 players in the state.

all that money they spin last year. they only made it to the 2nd round, PCC got lucky last year because Pikeville wasn't hit there 3's in that game.

but I do think that there is one of the problem with the 14th regions at state. they care more about winning region, when they go to state. I think the team that win the 14th region think they don't have a change down there, so they just go down there to have fun. if they win a game it ok, but they over all they are down there to have fun, and get out of school a few days.

I think these boys will improve a lot as the year goes on, but it would be hard for any 14th region team to replace what we lost last year. Ought to be fun to watch. Go PCC.
