I just wanted to recognize and congratulate the 32 winners (1 Boy and 1 Girl per Region) of the National City/KHSAA $1,000.00 Scholarships. They will be recognized at a reception at Rupp Arena on Saturday March 24th at 5pm before the Championship game and also brought out on the floor at halftime of the game. Each winner has worked very hard and deserve this chance to be honored by the people in attendance at Rupp...Their pictures will also appear in the Girls and Boys State Tournament programs.

Oh yea, did I mention that my son is the recipient of the Scholarship from the 9th Region. His entire family is very proud of him.
