I've heard people talk about Dudley being up 83-0 on McCreary, when they were just starting a program, on side kicking the ball with a couple minutes left in a game. Don't know because was not there but that is one of the stories I've heard.:biggrin:

I've heard people talk about Dudley being up 83-0 on McCreary, when they were just starting a program, on side kicking the ball with a couple minutes left in a game. Don't know because was not there but that is one of the stories I've heard.:biggrin:

don't ever remember the starters not being out by start of 3rd quarter in those years now last couple of years bell hasn't had the comfort of doing that Bell won 75 to 43 last year but didn't put it away til 4th quarter hadn't played since 2014

55-0 personally i think it’s sad to see a team like mccreary get pounded every year. there’s lots of teams in the state that i think should drop out of district play. not saying mccreary should but teams that go 0-10 or can’t win a district game in 10 years. why hurt your kids even more by playing teams like casey corbin and bell that can kill you. it hurts the kids more than it hurts the coaching staff and the program. i surely don’t want to play for a team that gets killed every single game. I’d rather quit football and be in the student section than get embarrassed every friday.

That's what I thought. Probably play the young guys all after the half. Just be careful to not get anyone hurt. McCreary, regardless if they are bad, are rough and have almost ZERO fundamentals. I have saw them spider monkey tackle extremely good players from behind, totally illegal and nearly break a kid's neck and back. IMO, if they don't pull their starters, I'd beat the hell out of them with my older guys, the first time they so much as tried to hurt a freshman. IMO

I personally expect Casey and Bell to be a slobber-knocker. Personally I believe it'll be a high scoring affair. Bell seems to be tougher to stop this year, with more horsepower. Casey is still hard to defend unless you have a top flight defense, as in, a top 5 defense in the class. Bell will be tough to defend because Dudley runs power as good as anyone I've ever saw coach in this state. It'll be a battle of a power front vs a finesse front, IMO. This is an intriguing game, and actually one that would merit teams with a bye-week who are close to come and watch. Just my opinion. Just by me saying that I feel a bit of pride, win or lose, who would want to come watch Casey play in years past that wasn't from here? Maybe still not a huge attraction, but with a good opponent it's definitely worth a viewing. IMO, other than maybe one really down year, I can see Casey staying around the top 10 the next several years, with a couple of real shots at the top 5 in, maybe, 5 years. Anyways, I agree, this is a test for Bell, but Casey views it as a test for themselves as well. I personally cheer for Bell now due to a friend of mine coaching over there, plus us befriending several Bell players a few years ago while watching them cheer AGAINST Corbin against Belfry. LOL! Those boys were slapping us high fives, cussing like sailors, lol. It was great. They were huge Belfry supporters! :biglmao::biglmao:

McCreary made play-offs in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Only 3 times in Schools History. They need to stay in District and schedule better out of District. JMO

Yes you are right, but teams won’t do that. they never do. I like good smash mouth, tough games that end in close scores. Not running clocks. why don’t the two worst teams play and the two best teams play. But i don’t make the schedules so...
