It is my understanding that the Ads scored the winning TD in the last minute of the game. I'm not completely sure though.

I missed this one. must have been a good game.

IMO looks like the Ads will have their work cut out for them in the playoffs. Hope they have some talent in the younger classes coming up. Always fun when the Ads are good.

Danville actually let Garrard score inside the 5 because they were afraid Garrard might convert the 2pt conversion (they don't kick) and not leave Danville with enough time to pull back ahead. 2 pt conversion failed and Danville scored with about a min to play to win. McGuire with about an 84 yard score. Heard Garrard chewed clock all night and had time of possession of about 75 percent.

Congrats to Jerry Perry. I know he doesn't care much about morale victories but this game should not have been close.

Jerry’s long been under rated in my opinion

Ads appear to be a little down this year.

They were world beaters when Corbin played em don’t you remember

The Danville players have to decide if they want to put forth maximum effort, I strongly believe if they do they will have success going forward, if they don’t the rest of the season will be disappointing. Coach Clevenger was quoted in the paper saying at some point you have to bow your neck and make plays. Everybody wants to talk about Danville’s big lineman but that’s all they are right now is big. They aren’t aggressive, on offense they just stand up and lean on people not firing out and getting some push, on defense they don’t attack they wait til the back gets up a head of steam and 2-3 yards across the line and then just catch and get driven back. This team is not last years team but they are a lot better than what they have done over last several outings, not taking anything away from Garrard but that was embarrassing.

Congrats to the Ads.

Danville has played a tuff schedule and may have some players out. I am not a Danville fan but have a lot of respect for them and what they have accomplished over the years. Pretty sure they will turn it around because the important games are coming up and they will be ready or at least battle tested.

They have played a tough schedule but I don't think that's the problem. I anticipate them playing Somerset tough but aside from that I'm not sure. Team lacks discipline and character. Not saying the kids are bad but the team chemistry is really suspect. Too many living off of last year's success and too many responding the the adversity with a "can't wait for it to be over with attitude".

The problem with Danville isn't anything but they lost nearly all of their playmakers from last season and there isn't enough left to replace it. Period.

I've been saying this for a year. The team talent level for the Ads simply isn't there like it was and it won't be for the foreseeable future.

Develop talent, do we not do that anymore?

Are you serious?

Every kid can get better but either they are an athlete or they are not.

Danville will develop their kids they have and they've got some kids that can play. But not enough on the scale of their 2017 class. It's just that simple.
