I’m very interested in this game.I have Hazard as a sleeper in the east. Idk who will win but I know it’s very hard to beat a good team twice in the same year!Whoever wins this one might not win the rematch!

Going to take a huge game for any Class A team to win at Pikeville this year but Hazard is certainly capable. Pikeville hasn't played their best game yet IMO and I hope it's coming this Friday.

If Pikevilleâs offense plays like they did Friday night it will be hard for Hazard to handle. This could be a classic but we will have to wait and see. To me this is the best game in the state this weekend. Has district meaning is why I feel that way. As always GO PANTHERS!!!

I agree jet, I dont think the Panthers have played their best football yet. And not only will it be hard for any 1A team to beat Pikeville at home but I think theyll be hard to beat on the road as well. BUT, Pikeville better get it together and start playing Pikeville football soon, like Friday night soon, or this season could get away from them. They've lost two in a row now and I know they lost both games to really good teams but a three game losing streak is a confidence killer no matter the competition. With all that said, I do think the Panthers get back on track this Friday night and beat a really good Hazard Bulldog team 35-21. And a quote from one of my good friends on here, "as always, GO PANTHERS!" Lol

Thanks for that #55PirateFan, but last year we lost 4 in a row but I know what your saying. This is a district game and very important to where this team needs to be a the end of regular season. But like I said before they play like they did on offense Friday night and they will be hard to stop. Yes I know Hazard has something to say about that and the are a good team but so was Belfry and Point Pleasant. But Pikeville put 21 on Belfry( and with a little better of execution could have been more) who I think is better defensively than Hazard. On Point Pleasant they put up 34 and had one called back on a bogus penalty and more drives stopped on penalties which they in my opinion defensively are not as good as Hazard. But we will have to wait and see. Defensively where Pikeville to me hasnât been playing very good and I have watched them a lot and know they are a whole lot better than they are playing. Always a good game between these two and a physical game just hope for no injuries for both teams and here you go #55 GO PANTHERS!!!

I didn't make any predictions. Please brush up on your reading comprehension skills. But since you bring it up it is always fun to have 4 state championships
hh:Messing with you haha. Way too early to remind you how many wins Raceland has at Pikeville.

Pikeville with 910 total yards of offense vs. Belfry and Point Pleasant the last 2 weeks. When the defense catches up look out.

Good teams can do that to you. I honestly didnât think they played bad against Point. Point has an extremely good line and it showed on their run plays and the limited amount of times those defensive ends got back there.

Yes but Hazard and Raceland combined for 26 on Pikeville D in playoffs last year. If D gets on that level vs Class A teams again the offense will carry them to Kroger Field.

Anyone know Jackson Hensley's condition at this time ? Sure wish the best for the young man. This kid is a difference maker. Christian Billiter was impressive Friday night, especially with that great overhead catch. Real good body control after the snag was made. Pikeville- 42
Hazard- 18

Pikeville will be too much for Hazard.

Itâs still early, plenty of time to get better.
Hazard lost that game last year but still put up over 300 yards on that defense, but the Red zone is where Pikeville stood tall and when it mattered.
Raceland stats shows they only had 180 on that defense.
But as I said still time to improve.

Hazard is quietly putting together a nice season. They have been flying under the radar compared to recent years.

Pikeville wins this one. Classy team, coaches and fans. I cheer for them every week unless they're playing the Rams!!!
