Danville @ Bardstown
#1
Who win and why? I'll take Bardstown by 14
#2
I also think Bardstown but this will be a good game
#3
In light of Danville's performance vs John Hardin...this could be a great game. Either that or Bardstown rolls because John Hardin is terrible. I'm going with the former.

Danville - 30
Bardstown - 28

All I can tell you is that Danville should not rely on tape. There were a bunch of furious players this morning angry they let the Pikeville game slip away, and changes are a-comin.’
#5
I’m going with the home team. Wish I had stay and watched Danville played Saturday night.

Bardstown 42
Danville 35

And a lot of Pikeville players furious that it wasn't a running clock.
Pikeville wins 10 out of 10 vs Bardstown.
Having said all that hard to tell who is better between Danville and Bardstown.
I will be rooting for Bardstown but I will take Danville by a TD or so.

Lets not take the Ads lightly.

Its still the Ads

I don’t think anyone will take Danville lightly. We had some great games with them back in the Joey Downs era when David Clark was OC.
#9
I’m picking the Ads by a field goal.

24-21

Wasn't Dave micromanaged by Joey all the time?
#11
Think this game could go either way. Imo, score will be close, but Bardstown has some serious speed, we do know that, but like someone else said Danville is Danville. Pulling for Bardstown in this one though.

Now, don’t be a pot-stirrer. Too early in the week.
#13
Bardstown put up a good fight against the best team in 1A, IMO, in Pikeville last Friday until the Panthers flexed their muscles and pulled away late and Danville seems to be down right now, but it's still Danville and I'll take them in a close one:

Bardstown 17
Danville 21
#14
I got a question for Danville faithful I was on KHSAA and it didn’t show on their schedule or LCA schedule that they played but I know they are still in the same district. Is this just a blunder or what?
#15
Bardstown 21-14 and yes Danville is down. Not good with LCA and Somerset being so good.
#16
Danville 35-14
#17
I believe Danville will be down this year, but I’ll still take the ADS by a couple of TD’s.
#18
This most likely would have been a running clock last year in favor of Danville. The question is, has Bardstown made up that much of a difference even with the Ads being down. I don't think so. This year's game will be closer, but, I still like Danville to win this one by a couple of scores, even on the road.

What was surprising to me, was the Panthers run game being as good as it was with the starting center having a sprained ankle, and one lineman out with a broken hand. Run game from here on out should only get better as Cody Raines and Jon Collum both played a whale of a game.

Pikeville played bad against an average team. Danville will expose them this week.

Gotta disagree dougie. Bardstown is no "average" team. They have overall great team speed and are well coached with some great athletes. For those who saw the game can tell you that. Plus, if you didn't see the game, bring up the U Tube channel for highlights. There you will see two quality teams going at it. The best team came out on top of course.
#22
Lex Herald today in a capsule on Danville said Ads soph back had 225+ yards and 5 TDs? Don't know how accurate but if Bardstown D can limit him they have a shot but if not it gets ugly IMO.

Edit: Stats up on KHSAA. Caleb Burns #3 on Danville roster. Look out Bardstown.

if they are not an average team they should easily handle a down Danville team?

Kaden Caudill leading tackler for Pikeville didn't play? How long is he out and he is a difference maker on D!
#25
I have to go with the Admirals in a close game. Apart of me wants to go with Bardstown at home but I think the ground game for the Ads will get it done.

Not sure if it was him or not jp. Was told it was a lineman, but i'll try to find out who. I think the center played part of the game, but #65 replaced him from that point on. Was told however, the lineman will play Saturday with a cast.

won't know til they line up across from each other and the final horn blows.

K Caudill is a linebacker and a very good one. Don't know if he didn't play at all or went out early. Huge when he returns. Also huge when Slater the center returns, he is one of the top players as well!

Yep, for sure. I remember what a game he played against Beechwood in the finals. His brother (Barrett?), freshman is coming right behind him, and the coaches have been real high on his accomplishments.

Yes K Caudill is a stud. Pikeville stats don't list him as having played. Hopefully someone in the know can tell us his status.
