I don't know how this game wasn't the WYMT game of the week.

Didn't get to see any of it, but it looks like Pikeville made the plays in the second half to pull the upset.

It was an instant classic. Belfry could never break that big play. And pikeville hit them finally in the passing game.

One team and staff did not and hurt themselves with unnecessary hurdles.

Great poise by MacNamee (the player) and great patience and playcalling by MacNamee (the coach). Rains ran his butt off.

Belfry's execution and late game strategy left a lot to be desired. How they can fall for the hard count on Pikeville's first XP after they have literally done it probably 7 of the past 10 years astounds me as well. Then the procedural penalties with the clock moving was a killer.

I wouldn’t say they are down. Pikevilles passing game finally decided to show up and hit big plays. Belfry ran their same offense but just could never hit the big play for a touchdown. Dixon did not plat for belfry so I don’t know how much of a factor that is. Haven’t seen him play but the other three just couldn’t get lose.

Dixon would’ve made a huge difference but losing Mounts at halftime didn’t help either. Pikeville hit the big pass when they needed it and the 2 point conversion by Pikeville was huge obviously. Lots of questions and concerns on Pond Creek right now, and I hope we can overcome them. Hats of to Pikeville because you earned it tonight

Dixon is a different maker, but this Pikeville team tonight made a statement. This is the exact game McNamee (player) needed. He ran the ball, took a few shots and kept his poise. Great play calling and great execution.

We didn’t have Dixon which is a big deal and in the second half Mounts went out it changed the game hope he’s ok but for the rest of the game as far as Belfry is considered all I can say is soft we need a big change and I don’t see it happening but good job to Pikeville hopefully I’ll never say it again unless my grandson ends up playing which looks like that might happen lol go win you a State Championship guys.

Give pikevilles offensive coordinator credit. They ran those screen passes all night to make belfrys CBs bite and then run a fake for a TD. Then on the run plays, they run the same play running to the left so many times just to set up a fake and the qb pulls that thing and slings it down the seem for a TD.

Whoa there buddy, never did I not give Pikeville credit, congrats to them! You’ll never convince me though that Belfry has a coach that can teach how to defend any credible passing offense. Just pathetic.
