Big win on the road. Get rested up and come out and dominate Ashland on Homecoming. I'll be there for that one. Congrats Eagles.

Wrapped u p 2nd place. Good job Eagles.

Good tough win on the road with a bad officiating. Looks like Matney has his troops marching down the road to another District title in a tough 5A district.

I thought Nathaniel Dials and Chase Richardson had great defensive games, especially in the second half.

took the eagles a while to come to life. They went into the half down by one and looked like a toatlly different team in the second half. Richardson was amazing. Dillion and Richardson havent definetly jerked up the slack and helped to take the heat off of Grim.

If I'm not mistaken the win tonight locked up the second seed. Woodford Co. will be crowned regular season district champions.

Woodford Co. did earn the #1 seed in the playoffs but there is not regular season district champ. The district champ is not crowned until the 2nd round of the playoffs are complete.

Sounds like Chase Richardson and Nathan Dillon had big games on offense.
I think I saw where Trey Belhasen and 2 INT's as well.
Congrats to JC on the win, and securing at least a 2nd place spot in the district.

They may have gotten 2 trophies but only one will come from the KHSAA. The district champ is not crowned until the second round of the playoffs as stated above.

Both of them came from the KHSAA. I've seen them with my own eyes and I was there when JC received them. One was for the regular season and the other was after week two of the playoffs when we defeated Ashland.

The KHSAA did award both regular season and playoff district champs LAST YEAR because of poor wording on their part. This year it was made clear that the district champ will be determined at the end of the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Tanks for clearing that up. I knew we received them last year, I guess the extra trophy will put the KHSAA in financial trouble!!Cool

Smile Things have gotten confusing in my opinion ever since they started having the teams play their same district opponents in the first two rounds of the playoffs.
