Casey Brown- JCHS Eligible ?

Was at Johnson Central on Saturday for the Middle School Panorama and heard that Brown will be eligible to play at either Lincoln County on Friday or the following week if they win. Does anyone have any info?

Only thing I "heard" is that if JC makes it to State Championship game, he will be eligible. But would they be willing to even risk it, after the mess they have had to endure the last month?

No "Risk" about it!!! Once you sit out a year from transfer you are eligible. Hopefully this "mess" will soon be "cleared" up.

He might be eligible but, what about his required practice time before he can play?

He will not be elegible to play sports until next semester. That would make him inelegible for the remainder of this football season.

Ring em up and DH, along with Mr. Sandwich as usual know NOTHING about what they are talking about. Casey's eligibility starts 11/29/07. I dont understand everyone's interest in bad mouthing this kid. He or his parents have done nothin wrong. HE HAS SAT OUT HIS TIME AS REQUIRED and to make any negative comments about him or his situation is TOTALLY OUT OF LINE!!!!! Leave him alone. You people need to grow uip and get a life!

I believe you should learn to comprehend a post before running your bigmomma mouth. Why do you think I quoted "heard"? Because, genius, thats exactly what I had "heard," not what I had cemented in stone. And then, I went on to ask what the timeline was for his return, from someone that sounded like they knew more about it, obviously admitting I had nothing concrete on the issue.

So, fill us in on all the so-called "bad-mouthing", cause I can find none in this thread?

And, PLEASE, elaborate more on us that you singled out? I like some good humor after dinner. This prob not the place for it, tho. Surely a genius can figure out how to private message?

What say we all calm down here. huh? There was however some bad mouthing in a previous thread about this subject where obviously again, nobody had the first clue as to what they were talking about.. Sometimes enough is enough.

Obviously there was some very wrong comments regarding the whole issue. Everybody was an expert, and obviously no body knew anything about what they were talking about. Now that the timetable has been established, what is there to banter on about? Let's just hope the Eagles get to the game where all available assets can be used on ther field and just cheer the team on. How bout it?

Sounds good to me. I wasnt gonna lose any sleep over 'momma. Jus dont like someone calling me, or anyone else, out, without reason.

Anyway, you prob know more about this topic, Kimball, so whats a situation like that call for? I mean, is a kid allowed to be practicing before eligibility is good, or have to wait till then to even begin practice? Saying, as example, in Mr. Brown's case, if the so-called date is 11/29, would he have to wait until then to practice, if JC is fortunate enuff to make it thru this week at Lincoln, thus giving him only one day of team practice before the State Semi?
